No the jackfruit is natural red. So is the banana. Vietnam/China also grow a red-flesh green-skin pomelo but its flesh is not so sweet. I prefer those grown in my own country bcs we have several varieties,one of which tastes a little sourish on top of the sweetness. The taste is unique.

@grandmapamm, My country has it. Sold at high prices at supermarkets but it's cheaper at stalls. In a certain state where they are grown it's cheap if bought at stalls. If harvested ripe on the tree like Phuong did the taste is fantastic. If I buy at the roadside stall I will choose one big comb from the uncut stalk and tell the stallholder not to spray the chemical which ripens bananas fast. Leave them covered in newspapers or in banana leaves for a few days. I dislike chemicals sprayed on my fruit. I didn't know you can make pizza with them.

The banana flower is a good source of natural nutritious food. The way Phuong cut the stalk is vg bcs she lowers it down to the ground so there's no falling impact to damage the ripe fruit. She's very careful bcs the fruit had ripened on the tree. Bcs each stalk is huge the plantation owners have to put supports on each tree. It is therefore fine for them to eat the flower. The natives where I live cook them deliciously in curries and other dishes. I enjoy eating them once in a blue moon Lolz.

A banana tree MUST be felled once its fruit is harvested bcs it will never fruit twice. If you leave the trunk uncut spirits will come to inhabit the tree!!! This is true indeed. My grandma told me a surefire way of inviting a pontianak/banshee to inhabit the tree but I won't write it down. Some readers might try it Lolz.
