Harvesting Grapes in Erie County Pennsylvania
Video from October 2020 as I visited a grape farm in Erie County Pennsylvania as they harvested their 2020 crop. Most of the grapes in this area are used for grape juice. In this video you will see a Gregoire G9.330 grape harvester working in the vineyard.

Thanks for the video Mike. I've never seen a mechanical grape harvester in action before. Here in Australia, the vast majority of our grape harvest goes into the production of table and premium wines, as well as eating varieties. So our grape harvest is done the old fashion way, feet on the ground and by hand in order to keep the quality as high as possible.

They generally turn to the right and skip six rows. From the 'catch' tractor you can usually see the berries in the unpicked rows. Darkness adds a level of difficulty.

This is actually a huge business in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York because the very deep lakes and steep hillsides keep the temperatures very "even" making for if not ideal then certainly very good indeed great vineyards and vintners. The best way to play it to make money besides just having your own Vineyard of course is through Constellation Brands ticker symbol $stz. Great place to throw ten grand into if you have the cash lying around in your Bank doing nothing nothing as we all do these days. Another great name tho not American should be noted is Mondelez. Not sure what the ticker symbol on that is ($mdz?) but you can skip the whole "i need a stock broker" bs when buying these names as you can just open an account with Charles Schwab and invest the money yourself...unless you start getting into the tens of millions in which case I have some people you can trust with that...along with a litany of those who you shouldn't ever go anywhere near I should add. Love the videos! Keep those cameras rolling! Make sure your vote got counted too!
