They look pretty interesting, Karl. I think I've heard of them, but don't think I've ever seen them for sale before.

They look very big - I grow them but never get as big as what you just showed - maybe because I allow them to self propagate rather than planting direct. Delicious taste too.

Could be the variety. The red one I showed tend to put out bigger ones than the yellow ones

I grew the yellow and red varieties in Galway last year, they grew very well. Left them in the ground until winter. Only I issue had was they drew rats, they loved the red ones.. they didn't touch the yellow ones for some reason.

Although I'm aware of them i must admit I've never tasted one Karl, not the sort of vegetables to find in your local shop 😁
