David! You are a real-life MacGyver. If you're not familiar with MacGyver, it was a TV show in the U.S. back in the 1980s about a guy that could create/construct anything to get him out of trouble. So impressed with your ingenuity!
OMG, I can't stop laughing. You know the world has become much smaller when you hear a DIYer in Latvia use the term "totally red necking this" when he's building a homemade set of tractor weights out of sand-filled plastic jugs. Deivid - you're a GENIUS! Big hugs from Maine, USA.
David (EN) really is a very clever. Smart man. Can adjust to any situation. I think your dog looks really happy. So glad you took him home and give him a new life.
Talk about ‘ get ‘er done ‘ !!! Long day tomorrow f work , but you guys did it !!! Next year - a proper potato digging machine 🙏. Deivid, your problem solving skills are awesome 😎 😘❤️
I grew up on a small farm. We never threw away bad potatoes only if they were rotten. We would sort out harvest to eating potatoes, seeding potatoes for next year and the 'bad' ones we would boil for our animals as a feed and they loved it. Mainly for pigs but geese loved them too.
You make me smile and laugh after a long day! When are you going to open an Air BNB? So we can come help you work, laugh, and eat!! Again, that dog was always meant to belong to you!!!
Keita helping harvest potatoes was heartwarming -- I bet you two sleep good tonight after all that hard work --- The potatoes look very nice indeed to me
It's really looking like you have a fairly decent potato harvest. I must say that regardless of the obstacles seldom do you allow things to get in your way of completing the task. You are really a cheerful and very caring young couple. 👏🎉, And may you continue to be blessed with good health, growth, success and prosperity 🙏
I had to plant my garden twice due to a late freeze and poor growing weather = it didn’t matter, hardly any beans, zucchini & no corn. You’ve done great with the potatoes during this terrible growing year.
A great team is at work here. The locking ring belongs on the side of the nut, a washer is only needed if there is a slot or a much larger hole diameter than the screw. A washer always makes it easier for the nut to come loose on its own. A washer then always needs a locking ring to prevent it from loosening on its own. One of the few RU-vidrs who lubricates the drill and thus extends its service life considerably - without regrinding. Well done folks!
Deivid you always seem to come up with whatever y’all need to accommodate the situation at the time. You are highly creative. I really like the dual wheels. I really laughed when you used the redneck line. I only thought certain places in the states used that word a lot. I sure hope that’s enough of potatoes to last the year for y’all. It looks like a lot. At least you got some big and small ones. My mom always loved cooking a big pot of fresh green beans with whatever meat she chose to season with and added the real small tiny red potatoes to them. I guess you could use any little tiny potatoes you wanted. Can’t wait to see actually how many pounds you have.
Potatoes are my favourite veggie, mashed potatoes with butter yum yum , I would be happy to eat them everyday. Fingers crossed that you have more than last year, you both work so well together 🤗plus your little helper the day you went to see that property and came home with a fur baby is something I will never forget x Stay safe stay well xx xx
Goodness me Deivid, you are ingenious at engineering things to fill your needs. But I think a better solution is needed for next year. You are going to be sore and exhausted tonight. Love from Susanne in Queensland.
Wow you got a great crop of potatoes. Mine did not do very good here in West Virginia USA It’s always so much fun to watch your videos. You two are hard working people. Take care.
My perter is a potato lover. We grow them too. So I showed him this vlog. He found it very interesting and fun to see how you solved the issues. Proclaimed several times frusterated that you needed one of those that was sold out. You got a new fan here in Norway. :)
It was a bad year for gardening here in the states as well. We've had practically no rain all summer here in Central Oklahoma and high temperatures. Your potatoes look pretty good to me as we barely harvested any tomatoes and cucumbers for the amount we planted. Keep up the good work and let's all pray for a better season next year.
It looks like a decent crop for such a bad year, glad you guys got at least few bags. I lost all my veggies this year and also the berry bushes, we got a couple of hot and windy days, everything dried out. The draught was terrible.
Hi! I just thought of a name for that tractor..."Frank"...like Frankenstein tractor since you have created it to be whatever you want it to be...🎶you rock n roll🎵. Ps. Look how cute, happy and loving her new life your doggie is❣. I forget her name? Remind me pleasey.
@@birgitc.rudolph9123 Hello! Thanks so much. She looks so happy that it makes me smile seeing her trotting along behind them wherever they go. Thank goodness they saved her from a lonely life. I hope your day is a goodie way out there in the world. I live in a state called Maryland in the U.S.
@@bevyking6570 yes , she is so addicted to them. God knows what she passed through, the time she was alone in the abounded house . We don't know how long she was there alone only getting some food...we found some cans and empty bowls when we took her from her place to home 🏡 Greetings to Maryland 🥰 Despinas mom 👩 ❤️
to bad a tractors are broke and YOU did not have that attachment for it .Maybe soil improvements and a different location for tractor use You both amaze me !
Wow, you are going to be sick of eating potatoes next spring, and not plant them again. During the winter, when your woodstove is going, you can cook a lot of them up and use for animal feed. I know my chickens love cooked potatoes, but they don't touch them when raw.
In our Cellar they last till next June. Potatoes can't go bad if they are in perfect temperature and don't get sunlight, the store potatoes are washed which makes them rot and start to grow. ❤
I feel really please for that poor dog, now that they are not a poor lonely dog any more. I am not sure that raw potatoes are a great diet choice for dogs, but I am sure you will help them if anything befalls them. Was that a good crop of potatoes after all your efforts? I hope that it was all worthwhile, mind you seasons do vary and at least the job was done and that is the main thing, well done.
