Harvesting Rocoto Chilli Peppers 🌶 

Great Harvest. They're super productive here in Sydney as well.

......my rocotos are more like the classic shape of a pepper, yours are rounder. I have the plant in a pot and three times it has dried up and three times it has risen. It is a very resistant plant.

I get these suckers in half, take the seeds out and then fry them in olive oil. Add a bit of salt once out of the fry pan when their nice and crispy, put it on a Hungarian roll from bakers delight - perfect

What is the heat level on those? Like a Jalapeno or hotter?

Why not get a dehydrator - or cut in half and dry in a 50c oven with door ajar? Thawed arnt as good after a year and you cam make flakes in a blender if dried too. I think Hotter than Halapeno - i like my Bishops Hats and Birds Eyes for heat or Ghosts if your game lol - you should do cuttings as my huge Rocoto never produced but got a few from a friend - maybe scrape out the black seeds if you dry?
