हरियाणा की राजनीति में एक समय चौटाला परिवार दिग्गज नाम था लेकिन इस बार जो रिजल्ट आए हैं, उसमें पार्टी ही नहीं परिवार की सीटें भी नहीं बचीं। ये हाल तक है जब देवी लाल एक समय देश की उप प्रधानमंत्री बन चुके हैं। वहीं, दो बार हरियाणा के सीएम। इसके बाद उनके बेटे ओम प्रकाश चौटाला चार बार हरियाणा की सीएम बने। उनके परिवार के कई लोग राजनीति में हैं और हरियाणा के जाटलैंड पर इस परिवार का काफी प्रभाव माना जाता था लेकिन इस बार के चुनाव में उन्हें तगड़ा झटका लगा है। ओम प्रकाश चौटाला की पार्टी इंडियन नेशनल लोक दल को सिर्फ दो सीटें हासिल हुई हैं। वहीं , दुष्यंत चौटाला ने अपनी अलग पार्टी जननायक जनता पार्टी यानी जेजेपी बना ली थी। उन्हें एक भी सीट हासिल नहीं हुई।

Om Prakash Chautala's party Indian National Lok Dal has got only two seats. Dushyant Chautala had formed his own separate party Jannayak Janata Party i.e. JJP. He did not get even a single seat.
