I’m a casual and I can say this weapon definitely takes skill I get destroyed by good players I’m definitely going to work on getting better with the wingboy
Wingman is STRONG for ground loot. Feels great to use, but running into a 3 stack Master/Pred squad running it is my personal nightmare rn. Feels like I get 3 tapped before I can even blink.
I think it needs a drastic different recoil because it comes back to center and I don’t think that it should come back to center same with the Kraber or the sniper rifles
I’m just saying u could’ve taken one or the other away they could’ve kept skull piercers and taken away the mag or kept the mag and take away the skull piercers
Well back in titanfall. The wingman weapons both had 6-8 rounds in the gun. You don't know pain until you get two tapped like in titanfall with the elite wingman.
i still feel like it was stupid to remove the mag, kinda. i mean every time i find a wingman its next to a sniper mag, if youre not gonna let me put it on my wingman why is it right next to literally every wingman i see
Pretty happy woth the nerf. I do not miss getting outsniped sentinel vs wingman or longbow vs wingman just because the wingman is literally just a longbow with 10 less dmg but no movement penalty.
I mean, it makes sense. How can you increase the magazine size of a revolver? You can't, but since it's a skill weapon to use, they should've kept a buff since it is a hard weapon to master.
The wingman is def much harder to use now. Before the change, I’s argue that the wingman was the best gun in the game. Now I feel like there are so many better and more effective alternatives.
Wingman will never be seen as balanced, no matter what they change. It requires good aim as damage is concentrated into fewer bullets (as opposed to many other guns, that serve a similar role to the wingman). So most players are better off NOT using a wingman. The reason for calling it unbalanced is the fact that high skilled players are the ones who overwhelmingly use it (Because it is satisfying and allows for skill expression). Bias comes in here as those players who are good with a wingman are good with any other gun, so losing against a wingman means losing against a good player (vice versa its hard to determine, whether someone with an R-301 is a good or an average player). You can look at Mande and the sentinel for another example. The sentinel is arguably not OP, however Mande shits on everyone with it. In conclusion, its not the gun its the player, so if the wingman was removed another gun, that allowed skill expression, would probably emerge to a similar role.
I can’t use the wingman at all, not for a lack of skill but more so due to how the wingman elite broke me in and completely hard wired my mind to just snap to another target after popping someone in the head once.
Yeah they nerf the DMG the mag capacity and remove de skull P. But they leave it shot per sec as it was on the care package and before the care package it was slower so they actually leave it strong just if you hit your shots. I mea you are scared if you receive 2shots with it
Ive recently come back to apex this season i last played in season 17 and been dropping 20bombs like nothing using the volt and wingman combo if i cant find a volt i use nemisiss but i think energy ammo guns r broken right now n i NEVER miss w the wingman oh also i use the new ledgend alter😁
Running ballistic now with his new buff, I usually carry a wingman in his sling to almost always have that boosted loader if I can’t find one. I’m just so happy wingman is back on the ground. PK, wingman 10/10.
