I think Halo is still gonna be one the best out out there in the gaming community. I don’t think cod nor battlefield would ever compete with Infinite nowadays. Vanguard has just proved to a lot of gamers that this game is slowly becoming more of a simple product and I think a lot of people with me when I say this because look at the games over the past several months and you can definitely tell that these sorta games wont even come close to competing with halo! Cod and battlefield are just using the same old strategy and you tell it’s starting to fail, so I agree with you Fletch 👍🏼👍🏼
Both. Right now I’ve already left the game since I can’t actually play enough to unlock the event cosmetics I want, the battle pass stuff I do want isn’t going anywhere, and the game just doesn’t have enough maps/modes to hold my interest. That being said, I’m looking forward to jump back in after some updates.
Even regardless of the MTX/Progression problem, it's still the most fun I've had with a shooter in a while, and definitely had the weakest controversy out of the big 3 imo
The things halo needs fixed are a lot easier then the other two because those two are gameplay related. Halo infinite has great gameplay loop and will only get better over time. Kind of like a fine wine. Like Sean dubs said in one of his videos halo is in a similar spot that sea of thieves was in when it first came out. Bare bones with not much to do but regardless super fun and people can obviously see the potential of the game.
I have to agree. I'm more into the game itself then anything else. Once they fix battle pass and bring more content the game will be in a phenomenal spot again and possibly take back the crown it had during halo 1'2'3. I would like to see that happen.
Despite its issues, Halo Infinite has demolished both. But, since I have a soft-spot for BF 2042, I also hope that BF 2042 will make a swift recovery, just so both Halo Infinite and BF 2042 can bury CoD Trashguard together.

Vanguard isn't even a individual game it's it's a retextured extension of the other games using the same assets. Battlefield 2042 on the other hand simply is lackluster. That's about it though.

Oh @@ghosttiee9212 no one can come close to what halo has. Despite the games shitty micro transactions, I think Halo Infinite’s MP being a Battle Royale is just getting started. They’ll fix it there’s no doubt about it! You can tell they’ve waited for the right time (many years) and they’ve looked for new options to see how the game would be approached with the community. Hence why they did the beta servers.
Love to see Halo doing well after long hard years of work, also with the fucking covid pushing people to work from home. What a time be alive and a CE veteran.
For me, personally? Absolutely. Did I expect that to happen? No. I hope it'd be fun to play and perhaps over time turn into something great. But gameplay wise it's off to a better start than I would've ever expected. The rest though... BP. Cosmetics. Playlists... need work.

The current Twitch viewership statistics are below: Infinite has 27k viewers. Fortnite has 93k viewers. Warzone has 73k viewers. Apex has 70k viewers. Cod: Vanguard has 50k viewers. Battlefield 2042 has 43k viewers. Without question, Infinite has severely dropped in viewership with other relevant shooters regularly having double (or triple) the amount of viewers.

I've been monitoring the Twitch viewership constantly out of curiousity from Dr Disrespect's comments, and Infinite has consistently had more than Vanguard and 2042's viewership without fail. Did you take these figures while Shroud was streaming 2042 or something?
I don't think so. Maybe for right now it's got the most hype. The multiplayer has too many issues for me to enjoy it. It might have a fresh coat of paint, but there are still many issues present. If I'm being honest, I don't think many of the issues I have will end up getting fixed. Looks like it's MCC for me still.
I just can't play anymore. Skill based matchmaking ruins casual games for me and I don't like ranked gameplay. What the fuck is the point of a ranked playlist if every playlist already has a rank?
halo has easily, BF2042 and Cod have been pretty shocking this year, Halos multiplayer is just simple fun, they just need to sort the store stuff out then it will be perfect, i think Halo has just shone a light onto how poor the new BF and Cod games are without a good shooter like Infinite i imagine most of the issues with BF and Cod would go unnoticed
Yes. The last good battlefield was 1 and call of duty has stayed the same since advanced warfare flopped. If the campaign delivers Halo will sell like pancakes again

Yes! Battlefield is a buggy mess that changed the core of battlefield to much and ruined the game and Vanguard sucks by default because it's just modern warfare with a ww2 skin. Halo Infinite is the most polished and unique game out right now.

Been loving infinite so far. But they def need some more game modes, and things like ctf and odd ball need to be separate, they should not be in one general playlist imo
Halo is on point right now. The bar has been set very high. Now, they need to figure out the complaints the community has over progression and customization.
Thing is though: people have seen ''bad'' BF launches turn into something decent to great in the past. Hell, even I'm following the news. But purely in terms of gameplay, right now, Halo is an easy win.
Plays fantastic and looks great! They just need to tweak the rewards for MP. Needs to matter if you win a match and the Battle pass needs to be a bit faster to go through. As it stands, people are more worried about making the challenges instead of winning the match.
In terms of gameplay and the content that's there? Of course! Unfortunately there's not enough of that content and the customization/ battlepass isn't up to the overall player base's standards.
I'm very torn. I want this game to succeed with all my heart. But i also fully support the large amount of people who are boycotting it until the shady anti-consumer practices come to an end. Unfortunately, that is a lot of players who will leave and never look back. 343 needs to work quickly to resolve issues if they wanna retain their momentum.
