Unfortunately, they always gave the muscular women only bit parts. It would have been amazing to see Cory get to star more as Atalanta in Hercules as well as in other movie roles.

Makes me sick. She was proud of her body, and we liked to look. Nobody put a gun to her head to put that costume on, as feminists would likely claim. As a young teenager, I was crazy for Herc & Xena. Don't believe I ever saw this ep., but 100% in agreement with you...perfect bottom...! Plus, when she touches his hands, he politely pushed them away from him, so his resistance wasn't futile really. Hercules was raised by his mother in this series too, so even though Zeus was "doing his thing" by messing around, Hercules didn't pick up any of his bad habits. 🙂

I totally agree. Brigette Nielsen who did play Red Sonja in the movie was built more like a fashion model than a muscular amazon warrior. It would have been much more impressive and believable as an amazon warrior if a muscular woman like Cory had played the role.

As a kid; Xena, Atalanta, Grace Jones (A View To a Kill), and Tina Turner in Beyond Thunderdome characters were my idols! Thanks to them, I even started competing in Women's Physique, and later on in Fitness.

I agree that Cory had some of the most amazing physiques of any woman when female bodybuilding was in its infancy. It would be interesting to see a scene like this with one of the more modern massive FBBs playing the role, like Lisa Cross.
