It’s honestly annoying as hell seeing the opportunity that Will and Matt have with being able to build cars alongside Chris, yet they slack so hard. Even if you don’t know how to do something, Chris is there to help and if he doesn’t know, he has so many friends that can help. I’d be all over that chance to do something with my car having a teacher around at all times. Not only that, he’s willing to pay for some of the parts to help you get going 🤦🏻♂️
Seriously, how many of us work full time jobs and do more on our cars that we pay for than will and matt have with cars ruddy pays for and helps them do anything they want with.
I can understand matt not getting his car done. Matt is the camera man, Matt edits the videos. Rudnik just need to take action and make a couple videos getting the e36 & the wagon ready.
As much as I like Will and Matt, maybe get someone a little more motivated around the shop. Surrounding yourself with people you want to be like is a good way to improve yourself. When I surround myself with motivated dudes that work hard it keeps me motivated and working hard. No disrespect just thought I’d share my 2 cents. I like the vibes of the videos recently and Matt’s shots are nice.
Is your fuel cell vented? By the sound when you took the cap off and were filling it and it puking looks like the fuel cell is not vented or not a large enough vent!

$2500 range for a new MTB doesn’t exist.. yeah it certainly does. I’ve built $700 bikes with less than $400 in components & had it last a long time(10+ years) of abuse.. all depends on how you take care of your equipment. As always.
Mountain bike game runs deep (cost wise). I'd seriously consider a hardtail if I were you. The full suspensions are nice for sure but hard tails in my experience are fantastic for XC stuff and riding kind of like you do BMX (jumps, quirky trails, wheelies, etc). Plus side being they tend to be a tad cheaper and more simple to maintain (just less stuff). Heck I've done downhill on my hardtail and it's great.
Buy a used bike to start with that is a few years old. Then after a year or 2 if your still into mountain biking and ankle is going well you could go brand new.
Mountain biking is a hobby that so many people try to get into, spend thousands, then give it up shortly after. Definitely buy a used bike, you save sooo much
Matt is constantly improving his editing which I think proves he is in it with Ruddy. He could easily make mediocre edits and not change a thing but chooses to improve. Does Matt have much experience in the past working on cars? Maybe he’s not that comfortable working on cars. Just a thought, could be wrong. Will is really being a bum though, and Ruddy has a pretty infectious drive/ambition. I’m not sure what it would take for Will to care more. All of the perks of this job with cool travel, events, FREE CARS. Working on cars is hard sometimes but that is what he signed up for. Pretty disappointing honestly and I don’t even have any involvement besides being a long time watcher.
Gotta be honest having the build paid for is huge, these two could have a lot of fun and lean a lot building and actually using the cars with the accessibility to facilities/tools/tracks/transport etc thats literally being handed to them LAY OFF THA WEEEEEEEEEEED
Used to be huge in the mountain biking world. Then I had foot reconstruction surgery and had to stop riding. Interested in how your ankle/foot takes it and if you find a brace that makes a big difference.
Hopefully you aren’t paying will for all these videos he’s missing. Not that I want him to go without money but it just seems like the last few months he has barely put effort forward to provide value for the channel. Chris I know you’re a good guy but definitely light a fire under these boys, they have a lot to be grateful for and it seems they could use some reminders here and there. That method got Rudnick out of countless jams(the painter,scumburto,ect) that method also got his sr roadster,Gtr, ls e36, and ruddy into his 370. Every legitimate build on the channel.
New, there's no "middle level" bikes for $2500, not even close. Most entry levels START at $2500, a middle of the road one will be $4000 or so. If that's your budget, you're going to have to buy used.
If you’re trying to save on a mountain bike check out direct to consumer brands like yt and canyon. I’ve had a couple ankle surgeries as well and mountain biking has been a new found love for me the past couple of years. Hope to see you get into it!
If your budget is like 2.5k on a mtb, then there isn't much options. I bet you already noticed the bikes cost like 3x more. But you can get some entry level bike like Trek top fuel 5 around that price. And you can always upgrade it when you need to. Maybe rent a bike first and see if that is really something you want to invest in.

Hope you get into mountain biking, it’s such a great activity to invest in. I know the initial cost is what scares people away but since you’re already coming from a bmx background and you love to modify stuff I think you’ll enjoy it. It’ll keep you active and it’s less brutal on your body.
You need a vent for your tank, and you need to swap the wires for the fuel gauge.. its wired backwards, thats why its reading at full when empty its all about resistance
Don't buy a Used mountain bike. You'll just be buying someone else's problems. Look at a Marin Rift Zone 2. It's in your budget and is a great all around full suspension trail bike.
Let’s see those cars get fixed and sold or fixed and driving. See some progress with the brake pads and the fuel pump on the 135 and all that. Knock some things off the list and it shows different cars for different content!

Love the Mountainbike idea! But dude you really don't need the expensive bike. Especially if you want to go riding in Florida 😂 try the entry level and good luck outgrowing it. Took me two years personally to really be more capable than my 2k bike

My opinion on the mountain bike thing is look at a ebike, I found by the time I got to the good trails I was so tired from the climb up to them I couldn’t fully enjoy the downhill runs
You are going to need to vent that fuel tank, and possible reverse the polarity of the fuel level sender so it reads correctly. It's not good that the tank has vacuum building up and will cause fueling issues.
I support the mountain bike content. I’ve got a Rocky Mountain slayer love it ! I picked it up used for a decent price. Rebuilt the fork and shock, replaced all the linkage bearings and it’s good as new.
Will and Matt need to put down the dab pen for a while and definitely shouldn't be hitting them at the shop like we have seen in the past. They're just being burdens to you at this point and thats probably why working with friends is difficult. Having some more strict rules while at the shop or filming might be something to think about.

I rode bmx my whole life and mtb is so much easier on the body when your 25+. I messed up both my wrists from hard drops on a bmx bike. The suspension and tires cushion the ride tremendously. Your cardio will improve also
have a feeling the wires for your sender are backwards, and you need a new Evap Vent for the tank that's why she spit back out on ya instead of swallowing up all that gas haha can't wait to see the JZX back on the channel, and Matt and Will actually put some effort into there builds! i mean i understand will, dudes the laziest procrastinator when it comes to finishing anything to do with his personal cars.... but Matt? maybe he's just spent too much time around Guido lol or he's just not wanting to actually get far enough along that he has to forreal participate in this drift competition hahaha i think it'll be really good for him though, dude needs to get his confidence up a bit and have some fun! once he gets the basics down of swinging a car hell be more interested doing some reckless shit!
