The lakers won championships in 2009,2010,2020. The celtics won in 2008,2024.

6 years. 2 WCF appearances, 4 playoff appearances, and a championship. Before that the Lakers were a lottery team for over half a decade. LeBron promised LA a championship, Laker fans said they wouldn't respect him until he brought 1 to LA, he did that. Yes, it was successful.

I would say it wasn't a complete success nor complete failure, it's just funny that the only championship they won was during a pandemic with him and AD healthy last year but the media wanted them to duck Denver. So if you think LeBron tenure as a Laker is a success than so is everyone that wins one ring for a franchise, like Jerry West, Gianni's, etc.

Im a Lakers fan, since the Showtime Lakers-- its about memories for me- Kobe died-Lebron was here for us to guide us threw it- I was depressed during the pandemic that championship lifted my spirits-he gave me the memory of being on all time leading scorer with Kareem handing him the ball in Lakers colors and we won the first in season tournament which I was happy about and it game me another happy memory, for me I will always be grateful Lebron came--because we get none of those memories without him.

If one finals apprence with a championship (in a bubble) where the season was on a multi-month layoff due to "COVID", multiple playoff bounces that involves "sweeps" and "gentlemen sweeps" while being a play-in team. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️I guess you can say that was a successful stint for Lebron as a Laker in the last 5 years.😂

We went from 5 straight losing seasons to making the playoffs 4/6 years and winning a championship and the 2 years we missed the playoffs Bron was hurt. At his age I'd say thats more than successful and I'll be sad when he leaves and we're back to being irrelevant.
