Magpie is a goated earlier round unit for its stats alone. Starting with 4 hp is really nice especially when so many tier 1s give extra attack. In later round rolling and ignoring magpie ability isn’t necessarily a bad thing. (Sometimes finding level ups is more valuable) Sometimes having the option to bank 2 or 3 gold is very useful even without any gold trigger units. All around magpie has solid winning/drawing chances early, is a great candidate for early stats because of its high starting HP, and is a worthwhile investment b/c it provides a degree of flexibility in the mid game

The man ripping on bottled water has never worked construction. Sometimes it's just all you got. I have a 1/2 gallon jug, but in 90-100 degree heat over a 10 hour day you gotta keep those fluids up.

When i have to use self checkouts I generally tip myself by taking a can of soda/ energy drink, for myself, that I crack in the store and don't pay for.

Vancouver tap water really must go crazy. I use a refillable bottle but it's not fun. The tap water here is ass, all bottled water tastes better. Not good, just better.

I don't understand how tips got inflated. It strikes me as the general population just being bad at math. At 15% a $10 meal got a $1.50. That same meal now costs $20. Your 15% already gets inflated to $3.00. But no, you inflate the percentage as well to 18, 20, then 25? That's not how math works. What's next, 50%, 100%? Imagine sales tax inflated like this. I tip 20% as a base now, but I also eat out less often, so you're not getting any more money. It's not like I'm making more money to pay you. Why do you get a raise and not me?
Well the issue stems from the fact that while everything else inflated, wages didn't nearly enough. The minimum wage hasn't increased in loads of places. Since the cost of living increased while the wages were stagnant then yeah the tip percentage rises.
