The Hela thing makes no sense. Stormbreaker is stronger than the original Mjolir, it’s blatantly stated to be the strongest Asgardian weapon. Thor enchanted Mjolir, so it is clearly more powerful. If Mjolir = Stormbreaker then there would be no point.

I think in the movie though they state that Namor’s spear is made of pure vibranuim, and that’s why it can cut through the ships and other objects so easily. Not just his raw strength.

As for Gorr not low diffing Thor, you could argue that Thor got strong enough to where he can go toe to toe with beings on Hela's level or higher. I mean It's kinda useless to say he's reached Hela's level and not showcase that by fighting on even grounds with Gorr for a bit. If he did get low diffed, then that would show that he's barely improved

Yeah, I never bought the “Star Level” scaling. People were wanking that “God Council” scaling without greater context. That said, I much prefer speed scaling debates in the MCU. I hope they get faster.

Personally I don't feel physically Thor can beat Thanos. Strombreaker definitely can kill him but I feel we haven't seen enough from Thor to believe he is stronger. Haven't seen BP2 yet so I can't judge the Namor aspect yet. So I don't know if his trident is special or anything..The faulty part of love & thunder is to me it really only showed Thor in fighting shape moreso actually being stronger. Of course he can be physically stronger due to Asgardian nature but not enough to beat Thanos or Hela in a 1v1 yet..

I think Thor love and thunder could’ve def made him star level, the thing is, even though they state gorr to be above hela in power THEY NEVER SHOW IT if they would’ve shown how powerful and how much of a badass he really is I think it really would’ve elevated his power but sadly they missed the mark on that

When ever it’s Thor’s time to officially put the hammer down, I want him to rejoin his family in Valhalla. When he does I want to see him to return to Asgard, plant Stormbreaker, put Mjolnir on a shrine, sit down on the log his father once sat on when he passed, and acknowledge either Odin, freya or Loki about him uniting with them soon. Then he fades away like Odin did in Ragnarok while his theme from the first movie mixed with Odin’s death theme plays in the background. I would literally cry like a baby.

3:19 my personal thoughts on this is that he was just bending the light to to point in time it was all them years ago, still an impressive feat as that’s gravity manipulation on a massive scale (but still essentially an illusion) without having to move the earth (likely killing the entire population of the planet) or even more powerful to the levels of the one above all moving the entire rest of the galaxy (killing all live across the entire galaxy as all their planets suddenly start flying though space travelling light years in seconds).

Don’t know if this is exactly right but in Infinity Wars Rocket says that the forge is where the most powerful weapons in the universe are made which wouldn’t include his weapon that can destroy a moon in Guardians 1 so wouldn’t that mean any weapon that comes out of the forge would be around that level. Probably not but I don’t know. Also the gauntlet was stated in Endgame to be able to destroy a continent so that would scale to Thanos.

This has to be said before I even finish the video, konshu is definitely not actually moving stars. For one, he would kill everyone in the Milky Way if he was doing that. Secondly, the night sky instantly goes back to how it’s supposed to be. They don’t have to move back in place or anything. 100% not actually moving stars at all. Also, it’s not that konshu can only deal with things conserving the moon, it’s because the gods put themselves in a pocket dimension. Ra is not in omnipotent city because him and the other Egyptian gods are in a pocket dimension

Don't forget, Stormbreaker adds bifrost damage to Thor's fighting, and something capable of creating and manipulating bifrost. The bifrost itself is incredibly powerful, and is the key to unlocking Eternity. Id say that bifrost is always in a state of kenetic potential, and it takes a lot of power to control.

You also have to consider the fact that Stormbreaker was meant to be the greatest weapon in Asgard. That could mean that eitri made it more durable than mjolnir. Mjolnir was, after all, made for a prince and not meant to be Thor's permanent weapon. But I agree that Gore should have been more powerful to be considered above Hela.

I really don’t think those ships have the durability of Cap’s shield. And Black Panther blowing up the ship with a vibranium spear proves it. The same type of vibranium spear, used by the Dora millaje, already clashed with Cap’s shield, and didn’t damage it at all. My head canon is that Cap’s shield is a vibranium alloy, stronger than the alloy of the ships of Wakanda.

The comparison of weapons isn't just a question of the toughness of the material (Uru) but the enchantments as well. It looked like Hela shattered Mjolnir by breakign the enchantment and releasing a massve amount of magical energy, not by physically breaking it via brute force.

There's quite a few videos that put Thor at solar system to universal levels, and consistently too throughout too. He was star level in the first Thor movie.

A lot of these arguments r so bad. 🤣 1. Gorr scales above Hela, Not only does he stab right thru Valkyrie’s uru armor casually like she did. Thor who had known about omnipotent city didn’t at all think it would be necessary to raise an entire god army to attempt to stop her. Not only that but we know Gorr is matching up against a Thor that’s at least 2 power ups stronger than he was during the Hela fought. Also Thor is confirmed to be channeling his own power thru his weapons, as confirmed by Odin himself. So yes his weapons do scale directly to his power which is y his weapons get strong as he does & don’t shatter when clashing with Gorr who is stated & confirmed stronger than Hela. 2. Saying they don’t know what the celestials can do because they aren’t in the building is an awful argument. They are in the city so the gods would know more about them than others. Also the gods are confirmed to be older than Thor so it’s likely one of them as seen a star being made or a planet being destroyed by a celestial. Not to mention it’s confirmed the Gods can basically have dominion over celestial bodies like stars. So to argue they have no idea who makes the stars or have never seen one made would be a reach. 3. I agree Thor doesn’t scale to the Celestials who should all scale to Ego’s feats & above Konshus feats but he does scale to Konshu. Yes Konshu needs his avatar to preform his galaxy level feats but all of that power comes from Konshu so that argument is meaningless since the avatar has no power at all separate from him. 4. Thor basically one shot Zeus who scales above Konshu with or without the avatar since we are told that’s where the most powerful gods are. U questioning Thor knowledge when Valkerie who also knows about the city hears what Thor said about it & doesn’t correct him. It’s also supported by the fact Ra is there who is stronger than the Gods we saw in moon knight being the head of the pantheon. Thor being Large planet - star level off a little bit of training after his previous power up is more consistent than country level Thor. Specially considering Wanda can go from country level to a multiversal threat off 1 power up.

Isn't it still the movie lore that the hammer was forged in core of a star and that star blew up on top of it and hella goes on to break it with her hand , isn't it also the case that in thor one Thor destroyed byefrost that contain enough energy to make a black hole that also consumes multiple stars . On top of this isn't it stated that the crater on the jotunheim is 100 times in size of the Grand Canyon Plus is it also stated the destroyer blast are light and even took place in one frame. Also Thor 2 the Dark World the ships that were taken down had black holes engines and even by the lowest downplay isn't it stated that the Leviathan cannot be hurt by the Iron Man suit even if they blast it until reactor runs out of energy in the Continental range of power. Namor slicing feat should not be a strength feat. His spear was literally said to be *Vibranium* . How did we miss that . Of course Namor is superhuman though... And of course the sound aspect is notable as well.. My argument is that Namor being a superhuman gives him way to slicing vibranium ship easier then maybe T'challa slashing the shield. The strength difference between them I would argue is big enough to consider that Namor should naturally achieve higher feats . It's like if I were to punch a brick wall with a boxing glove and it didn't budge and I probably hurt myself if I did it enough times. Meanwhile someone like Thor could use the same glove and decimate the wall.. Also I feel if we study Okoye then it should be obvious how strong a Vibranium spear is.. Okoye has been able to pierce all things she's tried. Her only downside is she's still human. Meanwhile Namor as mentioned is superhuman. My simple logic is if Okoye is able to cut whenever she's tried cutting so far then Namor should do the same with more ease(at least with earth bound materials)... This to me as mentioned earlier I feel shouldn't scale his physical strength up to hulk lvls. I feel something like that has to be proven physically..

Thanos can take brunt force trauma but he could be killed by bladed weapons, else why would he be wearing armor? Nebula spent a lot of time with him so she knew this. She attacked him with a sword in infinity war and really believed she killed him but the reality stone was already in play. Thanos played around with the guardians/avengers in titan with no fatalities but the minute Tony brought out his spear? He broke it and stabbed him. Thor hurts him instantly with Stormbreaker too. I still can't get over how nobody used this info in Endgame and tried brute force again.

Youre ignoring the fact that gorr would not want to destroy stormbreaker. Your entire argument kinda falls apart on this one point.

1. The characters were already large planet level, captain marvel was able to take the power stone, and she’s not exponentially stronger than thanos and everyone else, they should be atleast planet+, not country level, and a jump from large to star is much more reasonable 2. The argument of mjolnir is very stupid, it’s very arguable that they can bring their weapons to their level by channelling their power through it, as awakened Thor was able to fight hela and even knock her out (making him above mjolnir), but stormbreaker/mjolnir are still useful in IW, endgame, and LaT, and having a weapon would always be useful no matter what 3. The Egyptian gods should be the level shown as they always have avatars with them, and they’ve shown large planet level feats with their own magic without the help of their avatars, only being galaxy when working together(just having an avatar puts them on this level) So at this point large planet to star is pretty consistent 1. Captain marvel taking the full power stone 2. The weaker Egyptian gods being large planet just on their own, only needing an avatar at all, not assistance from one) 3. Gor manipulating stars in his own world with the necrosword 4. Celestials consistently being able to create stars and suns

I hope that we see Rune king Thor, then we may get star level Thor.

Why are folks constantly trying to power up Thor? Love and Thunder was ridiculous, Thor is no where near Zeus level...

Zeus was afraid of the Necron sword not Gor. Also we never saw any god that gorr killed in order to scale his strength. He's also not stated to be above other pantheon deities. So thor being able to stalemate gorr doesn't mean he's above deities like Zeus or Ra. There's no solid proof to scale gorr to the deities present in omnipotent city. Then again, the nekron sword was the only thing that terrified the gods not his own power and abilities.

There's far too much conjecture going on here for my liking. Lots of "interpretarions" of statements and subjective opinions here. There's also the same 2 issues that are almost always present in power scaling period. One is that in order for the scaling to work, you have to assume that every character is operating at maximum potential at all times. Flash is always running at top speed, Thor is always using his full strength, Wanda is always using her maximum level of power etc. This just isn't true. No matter how you slice it. There's a great example in this video of lowballing Gorr (or was it Thor) to wall level. In the scene used, Gorr is clearly not using his full strength to the Thor point into the car. Another example is Snyderverse Flash pushing himself to approach lightspeed compared to he very clearly slower "regular" levels of speed. This is (for example) FAR faster than he was running when "evil" Superman was able to track and chase (but still not catch) him. Yet most scalers of the Snyderverse will say that Superman must be practically light-speed because Flash achieved lightspeed at the end of the movie and Superman scales to Flash. . Then there's artistic license and how certain feats are displayed on film vs how they actually occur in the lore - although that's more of a side note. The second issue though is that sometimes, the people making the content (in this case movies) either don't know, don't care, or just don't think about things like continuity and relative power levels. In these cases, you get feats that contradict past events. For example, having a character u servo an explicit boost in power in a new movie but then struggle with a definitively weaker character than someone they destroyed back when they were in a "weaker" incarnation. These things CAN NOT just be ignored but at the same time, incorporating them into a powerscaling discussion requires a certain level of arbitration in order to sort out where scaling is viable and where it isn't. Still, it's a better option than just ignoring it altogether and then acting like everyone is at max all the time - which ironically is somwthi ng that this video warns against doing but then actively does in a large amount of other videos. . Finally, if we look at Thor's durability via his Nidavellir feats as an example, there's one more issue to address. This one I can "mental gymnastics". I know a good portion of the scaling in general involves using real world physics and calcs for a lot of feats but sometimes, we are at right up given the answer on screen and don't need to do that. Nidavellir is a good example. Eitri EXPLICITLT STATES that Thor is about to "take the full force of a star". This "force will be exerted on him by a hypothetical, fantasy space magic device that harnesses the power of a neutron star in order to melt and forge Uru (a mystical substance). Yet for some reason, we have people trying to calculate luminosity of said Neutron star and then trying to mathematically calculate how much went into that little area Thor was standing in. This is completely unnecessary. For all we know, the entire luminosity and heat and overall energy output of the star at the time is s okmehow captured by the dyson-sphere-like device and concentrated into that one area. In fact, Eitri's statement about Thor taking the "full force of a star" would make more sense in this context. But who cares?? He stated it explicitly and yet people need to go through a all of these mental gymnastics to calculate itusinf real life math and physics equations. . Suffice to say, much of what was in this video is just speculative ad things stand now and I'm gonna reserve judgement time we get more concrete evidence.

isn't thor technically as strong as odin now because he has the odinforce. also stormbreaker can summon the bifrost which in thor 1 loki used the bifrost to nearly destroy yotinheim technically making stormbreaker at least a planetary weapon

To be far scarlet witch would have killed Thanos by herself if he didn’t have his fleet bombard him own army to distract her from ripping him apart, I would hate to see a Wanda that’s been trained up by the likes of the Ancient one or one of the other magical masters of the setting (and by hate I mean it would be awesome and depending on who was training her maybe terrifying) Most of the hero’s powers seem to be been restrained by their own mental limiters.

MCU never really had a set good power scaling or consistent one tbh it's all literally plot armor or what moves the narrative that benefits the MC at their current situation. Disney just meddling way to much for what sells, all phase 4 movies and show just feel empty to me also i want to love them so bad but at least they look nice and are entertaining. fans should voice their opinions and hope disney listen and take into consideration.

Interesting video... but I don't think the makers of the Marvel films have ever cared about consistency when it comes to strength levels of characters within their universe. Power scaling in the MCU has been broken and contradictory since the get go.

how are you going to say that Namor even scales to Thanos when he struggled against shuri? And was hurt by his physical strikes? And the fact she actually dead stopped one of his strikes? Seriously? Your definitely missing some context with these feats, 1. Hela used to own mjnoir, which led her to break it easier 2. The only reason mjnoir broke the necrosword is because the worthy enchantment not bc it’s more powerful

I mean all the Gods we see bleed gold, and the more powerful ones like Zeus don’t die, they get weak and Incapacitated yes but they don’t fully die which I’m pretty sure is accurate to myth where gods can’t die, at least Greek myth, yet Norse Myth gods do, but they aren’t called gods, they are called Aesir. Asgardians aren’t gods, some of them have godly powers but they bleed red and most of them come from other realms, that one Warriors 3 guy I’m pretty sure is shown in Dark World coming from like Alfheim or something and Loki is a Frost Giant, so that means Asgardians come from other realms and places, Asgardians aren’t really a race, they are a people. Greek Gods are Immortal, they can’t die, and Odin says to Loki “we are not gods, we’re born, we live, we die” so I don’t think Asgardians are gods, yet they can surpass gods

Stormbreaker is probably way more durable than mjolnir, uru has demonstrated different levels of durability, the destroyer armor was less durable than mjolnir despite both being made of uru.

Who knows. Maybe Thanos will come back and get a major power boost, like he unlocks some powers like in the comics like telepathic resistance, energy blast, laser vision, something like trapping stronger beings in a cube or something like that.

What about Planet level?

I don’t think namor is stronger than Thanos for all the things the movie shows. A new and almost inexperienced Shuri managed to beat him. Yeah it’s the brains vs strength type of battle but still like at he’s max I don’t see him doing much more than what Hulk did in IW. Maybe he can perform a little better but Thanos is really smart and could find a counter and defeat him easy. Still good video. I think Thor is definitely stronger than before and Thanos but not sure how much cause Love and Thunder was pretty inconsistent, I do believe you’re Uru and stormbreaker are stronger than what you say, but again inconsistencies.

Vibranium is of various types and the thing that makes vibranium better is its ability to absorb kinetic energy thats why Adamantium being more denser and powerful than vibranium is still inferior to it And the reason that namor was able to cut the ships were because namors vibranium is better than wakandium vibranium and the frequency of namors vibranium is more than that of wakandium vibranium that's why he was able to penetrate the ships And uru is more denser and more durable and powerful than vibranium And the reason why stormbreaker didn't break because its the most powerful weapon of asgard and it was able to survive the infinity stones and it should have various enchantments to make him more powerful Odins weapon Gungnir, AKA “The Spear of Heaven" was more powerful than mjolnir and gungnir was able to physically damage hela and storm breaker is stated to be more powerful than gungnir by eitri as he said its the most powerful weapon of Asgard
