Hearing Qt talk about her not checking on calories cause she spirals back into ED is so relatable and I am sorry but people who haven't dealt with that cannot often comprehend how difficult and irrational it is
It's literally in the handbook of ED, if you struggle or have ED do not count calories it can spiral you so fast. I feel bad for QT, I have the same issue.
@@aydadae7337 Of a specific kind of ED, i have an ED aswell and i need to count and keep track because i lose track of what, when and how much ive eaten. There are so many kinds of disorders and so many different ways people need to deal with that. If it were in the hand book for all ED people like me would struggle to follow that handbook.
chiming in as a recovering anorexic … the whole thing about diet culture is like do these people even need to be losing weight? the focus of going to the gym shouldn’t be losing weight it should be gaining muscle and being physically healthy 😭
@@KassiePayton I'm dieting to gain weight aswell, everyone always synonymise diet with weightloss. Diet means food intake, calorie deficit diet means diet to lose weight.

Not saying I disagree with you (diet fads are awful), but they have enough knowledge about how much you should/shouldn't eat in different types of food

Its so crazy to see Hasan react to QT, its just like my friends respond to me when I say I'm worried about some crazy thing could kill me. OCD is a hell of a trip, imagine believing something will actually kill you.
As a nutrition coach, I never track calories with clients who have a history of disordered eating or a bad relationship with food in general. We'll focus on macros or if that's still too much, we'll just keep a food journal where they just take pictures of all of their snacks/liquids and foods and I can look over everything and make suggestions based on meal/food selection. But also the scale might not move if you're also gaining muscle so that's also a thing lol

Okay but unironically? Finding the things that make you somewhat more comfortable with something you’re afraid of doing is a great way to actually start overcoming that fear. Like, maybe QT needs her uncle to fly the first few times, and she slowly becomes comfortable with that. Then she can take one step away from that until she’s comfortable with that, then on and on until it’s not that much of an issue anymore. Not even joking, my sister’s therapist recommended something very similar for her OCD
This was a very nice, calm episode. Kinda cozy. QT and Austin as always bringin insane stories to the table and even more insane fears that nobody else has. Also QT is looking amazing during this whole episode, even more than in the yassified thumbnail.

QT is so validating and inspiring as someone who struggles with some of the same exact issues. Genuinely so encouraging, and seeing her do everything she does despite feeling like I do gives me so much confidence and motivation.

Considering I'm a year older than Hasan, I'm so shocked at how much I'm blushing while he's talking about tips for giving head. Lol and QT is so brave but also right... Giving pleasure aside, men tend to enjoy it more when the person giving head is in pain. We ALL know that men grabbing the back of your head and pushing/holding is so common and the worst thing they can do. Long story short, QT is always right.
