I’m American who lived in Shanghai for 3 years and now living 3 years in a smaller city outside Shanghai. There’s a lot of Chinese who speak English and I’m surprised they didn’t encounter some fluent English speakers on the famous pedestrian street where the first guy did his dancing. Also they could have gotten milk tea (boba) for ¥11 and not wasted time on Starbucks but whatever. Also annoying that he kept saying Yen as their currency, it’s kuai or rmb
