It’s crazy to me that next to Spider-Man, Wolverine is Hasbros most made character in action figure form and they still give him those flexible POS claws
Aside from the Adamantium claws being too dark and the yellow not being the same tone in certain areas, this is still a stellar Wolverine figure on the part of Hasbro. Both head sculpts look great, especially the unmasked portrait. The paint application itself is pretty clean. I like the inclusion of the folded back mask. Articulation is solid. With Wolverine being as great as he is, I can imagine how good the rest of the figures are going to look. I only have a few Hasbro figures and they are all Star Wars Black series related. However, that will soon change if the rest of the X-Men figures are as good as Wolverine. Thanks, Spot! As always, I really appreciate the hard work! Keep it up! God bless and stay safe!
That figure and review is excellent. Managed to warn off buting Marvel Legends for a good while but might pick him up! Have you ever reviewed any Four horsemen figures? Your attention to detail would be great to see on their figures
Good looking figure. I prefer the mask down version, so the opposite of the reviewer, but I love that they give the option. I'm not a fan of costumes that have the trunks, so I'm more looking forward to the astonishing suit that Hasbro just put out for preorder. I'm also hoping at the end of the season '97 changes his costume to the Astonishing suit. (just not a fan of trunks).
Out of all the fun cool X-MEN characters, Wolverine is definitely my own personal favorite because of his awesome powers I do not have him but I will try to get him, Gambit, Rogue, Bishop, and...... Magneto.
Did they slightly change his color? Back in first release i think the blue was more of a teal color. Now it’s like a rich blue, which i think looks better
@@TheReviewSpot I think a lighter gray would have worked. I like the idea of metallic too but since it’s animation style it might clash with the other colors. The gray they went with is just a bit too dark.
I do appreciate that they give you some choices for head sculpts. Having a masked and unmasked pair is a great choice to have included. The adamantium? Claws look warped as usual, I do wish that in one of their Wolverine figures they'd have added the Bone Claws as an accessory. I forget if Wolverine had them in the Animated 📺TV📺 Series? Those would be a nice accessory however. The scale is really good. Granted Hugh Jackman's Wolverine sort of breaks the mold on how tall Wolverine is. But since his first appearance in the comics, his stature has been short or shorter than his colleagues and enemies. This figure is "Spot-on" perfect for that. Sorry bad pun. I don't want to put you on the Spot. Okay I'm done.
While I love the review, I'm not sure if I'll be buying this one. I really miss and loved the 97 X-Men animated series. However I already have probably 4 or 5 Wolverine figures. I did appreciate the time spent on the review and the figure is good. It's hard to even consider buying him when I already have the Original Wolverine figure. A Diamond Select Wolverine, The Old Man Logan figure, the X-Men movie Wolverine (awful BTW), a unmasked Logan figure, and maybe a couple more. Still this review has me thinking about it, maybe.
When it comes to the new Wolverine action figure release, having both open and closed hands provides a wide range of possibilities. Open hands allow Wolverine to hold various items like a beer can or bottle, the Muramasa Blade, or even a machine gun. Additionally, they enable him to interact with a rope or ladder, drive a motorcycle, or even hold a cigar. The open hands also make it possible for Wolverine to carry a picture frame, or more beer. giving you plenty of versatile options that the two sets of closed fists alone don't offer.
Great review! This is my first view of the channel and ill definitely be sticking around for more videos! One quick question, do you have a filter you place on your review? Your wolverine has a much deeper blue than the wolverine I ended up getting, so judt curious why the difference
Hey thank you very much diego, appreciate that, means a lot that you found the channel and that you enjoyed the video. As for Filter, I'm using a picture enhancement filter but it should still be presenting itself in true Colour, the White Balance should also be reading properly? hmm unless mine was cast in a different plastic, maybe there's slight variations on the casting colour? not sure to be honest. Again thanks for checking out my stuff, got over 10,000 videos that you can check out so there's plenty to see :)
Your ACBA is getting really good. That thumbnail imagine is amazing. This isn't a figure that I would think much of at glance, but that pose and photo you took make it look like one of the best Wolverine figures ever.
I'm happy that they added accessories because their prices are too high. Especially getting an extra head. I do wish they would fix the claws. They are so low quality. One other thing they could have done was paint the hair on his arms.
