I think a lot of the mold differences is because Hasbro is working with current equipment to make their copies of the molds, which gives them the ability to get how the characters looked right they way they have while keeping the figures looking as close to the Kenner versions as possible.
I just snagged up the 4 main ghostbusters and I ordered slimmer and stay puft from Amazon. Getting these figure hits me right in the nostalgia feels. ❤️❤️
I took a magic eraser to my original stay puft and he looked just like new! Love these, spot on recreations and I love the classic purple packaging!! Talk about memories, man.
Apart from a few mini ghosts a piece of watermelon, a containment unit and a fire house sign, my mr stay puffed is the only thing in my collection that are my own childhood toys, I’ve pre ordered these figures so be happy when they finally arrive 👍 hope they do the fire house and ecto 1
So I had no plan of buying these and skipped the pre-order. Then I saw some of the reviews online. Then I saw the empty shelves with the posted price tags. Then I traveled to five local Walmart locations. I still don’t have them.
Honestly, I like it when reproductions either have small changes in the packages or the figure or minor ones on the figure itself. Sometimes I own the original, and want it to easily stand out from the new one, but still keep that retro vibe. I lost the pizza and the meat, but still have that watermelon.
good luck trying to get these ebayers buy up the whole stock then price gouge them on ebay kinda of sucks,I would love to own these but are going to be hard to get unless there is abudant amount sent to where toys are sold....
Kenner always called him Green Ghost. Far as I know, it was just on the Gooper Ghost version they actually put "Known as Slimer on The Real Ghostbusters TV show" on the packaging.
in east tn i have only seen the pke meter and nothing else i have seen the pegs for the figures out but i think they have not been put out or have been sold out but i am going to be looking out weekly for stuff
These gonna come to the UK? Where are these new proton packs at too? Saw them on the toy fair vids then they seem to have disappeared. Cant wait to get my son (self) one.

The few times I go out to Walmart during essential runs the four busters are always gone. I refuse to pay scalper scum their ridiculous 100+ price point on ebay. Is there any place out there at all to reliably find the four main guys at a fair price?
Man it is horrible. They are available in US, not in Canada. We cant cross the border. But that merchandise came from Quebec if you look in the back of the card. This is outrageous.I want one.
Once you put the Stay Puft's next to each other the difference was totally obvious! yuck!😱🤮 but I also wonder if he would clean up if you used a soft bristle toothbrush in a little toothpaste
