The only thing I still like from the JW 2015 line is the artwork on the packaging design because the style looked like authentic promoting a real theme park.
I think it was a good thing that you ended up getting that and preventing a child from accidentally getting something that should never be given to a child let's be honest.
They released some kenner figures repaints during jp3 and after. Also, they made a small but amazing toy line for the jurassic Park movie re-release a few years before jurassic world
I actually smashed mine today, since Im getting my first Mattel rex today (Im late, I know). I took it outside and smashed it. Ive owned it for 4 years, I was literally a kid when I got it. And I just accepted it. Cause I had never been able to afford an ACTUAL jurassic world toy. I was so desperate I forced myself to accept this thing for 4 years. In the past few months, thanks to me getting a job as well as some ebay STEALS, I was able to get every single classic kenner Rex, as well as the 2k9 Bull. These only helped me come to my decision to destroy the Stomp n Strike much faster.
I remember back in 2015 I bought way too many of Hasbro's Jurassic World line. For years I had dreamed of a new Jurassic Park line and had managed to convince myself these were good because I didn't want to face that fact that I had waited my whole life for a Jurassic World line only for it to be a cheap cash grab. Now I wonder how different my life world be if I just put all the money I spent on JW figures in a savings account.
The stomp and strike T Rex used to be my favorite Jurassic World toy but when I saw the thrash and throw T Rex it became my new favorite toy I liked how mattel made it a lot more accurate to the T Rex in the movie. Out of all the Jurassic World Hasbro toys the raptors have to be the worst they really screwed up on the raptor toys
Good that you saved the world from a potential murderer. nah seriously, the abundance of 'Parents who don't know better' seem to be rising. I mean, I had to save some kid from their grandma from buying an off brand laser sword because she thought it was a lightsaber. Ugh.
@@GadZip That's why your comment is stupid, "The Old Hasbro" DOES NOT exist now, and even if it's as good as in the past, no company would like to share a licence with it's rival. What's the problem with my grammar, jerk?
An anomaly if I ever saw one! It's amazing how bad it looks next to a much better toyline. You should keep it just based on how bizarre it was to find it in store at Target with the new line that replaced it
This figure is so bad that it was once recalled because the arms pop off easily. Even the damn thing sitting on the shelf and the arms can still fall off.
As a 13 year old kid who owned the small hasbro T. rex toy when I was 8 , literally that crappy hasbro toy broke on me , I did’t even realize it’s was broken , the plastic feels like a McDonald’s toy . Am so glad i owned a 1997 Kenner bull T. rex , 1993 Red rex and the Mattel T. rex and carnotaurus
The leaps that Mattel did are greatly illustrated when we compare the sculpts side by side... It's truly remarkable! But, in all honesty, I can't hate this Stomp n' Strike... It was the first in scale "JP" T. rex I've ever gotten . Still it holds nothing compared to Mattel and it's fun to keep it and look back at what we got in 2015. Loved the video man!
I bought one too about a couple of months after the first Jurassic world film came out in 2015. Still have it in the box just for collector purposes. Like you said man, got to have a relic from the past. Ha I will say though It’s pretty nostalgic just looking at this thing in the box as hideous as it is. 2015 vibes when the movie came out.
Yeah a few of the old hasbro stuff is still reasonably priced on Amazon. But the Mattel stuff blow it out of the water. Thought it was funny this thing was randomly on the shelf. Can’t complain about paying $16 lol
You lucky... Honestly... I liked the Hasbro line I know the holes on them sucks, but that doesn't make all the figure bad Idk why people hate so much them
@@non-gamingchanneld3861 yeah, I know But what I mean is, people just hate hasbro just because they had mistakes in 2015, but in 2011-2013 the figures were awesome
I don’t know i have this long ago and now the neck of trex was scraped the worst trex i must say the head mostly i hate but this toy was legendary high price and rare
the only good toy in hasbro when there was no mattel was probably the trex and the indominus rex they could have fixed the trex by giving it a longer tail big legs big feet give it a smaller head and they should have brought better painters and fix the trex eyes make them face forward like in the movie color the trex a lil dark and paint the belly white give it more longer arms are make the whole toy rubber and leave the legs plastic and give it sounds stomping sounds roaring sounds fix the teeth make them look sharp not bumpy and fix the jaw make it stronger so it can grip human figures with its mouth make the tounge longer and overall this toy could have been good give it trex foot claws not raptor claws. the other toys i dunno what to say about them remove the battle damage make them rubber or better plastic make them bigger not smaller fix the raptor give it raptor feet give them the sickle claw at make them stand JUST BRING THE PEOPLE WHO DESIGNED THE OTHER 1993 TOYS DAMMIT they could have done better but its too late mattel came and kicked their asses but mattel your missing two thing in your toys make them rubber and stop painting the trex orange make it movie accurate. does anybody agree with me?
the big indominus and stegoceratops were the best ones IMO, the t-rexes in any form are terrible, well except the hybrid one, though still has the butt ugly mold but the metallic green looks better than the baby shit brown they use. At least your wish has been granted by mattel since they now use movie accurate paintjobs and released the '93 classic line using rubber for their rendition of the kenner red rex and now the demon carnotaurus.
I don't think it is that bad it is pritty bad compared to what we have now but for $16 for an eight-year-old present that wouldn't be a bad toy they wouldn't probably mind
It’s better than the raptors but only a little. And it’s not the worst Rex now that I see some of the others were worse. So much better now even with Mattel’s issues
Didn't Hasbro own the Kenner models? I can only imagine a world where for the Jurassic World line they released the young rex again instead of this "t.rex".
@@LeoTheYuty if i was the boss of hasbro i would make most of the molds return indominus rex would be like the bull t rex ankylosaurus will also be rubber
When I used to have this rex and the I rex when I was 8-9 and that I rex kept breaking and at the time I was sad but now I’m very happy my mom got rid of it and I have the Mattel I rex and T. rex that are IN SCALE!!!
The t-rex has nothing to do with you hasbro tried it's best to do it's job and they made it this t-rex is a best thing that hasbro has give us if you don't like go to ur mattel legacy collection t-rex that legacy collection is a rip off of the chomping t-rex from hasbro f you
I regret buy all of the hasbro jurassic world toys as we all know they're horrible and i could've used the money for something better like G.I. Joe for example.
