We're back in the era of getting voyagers with some extra accessories for a leader price, and I am not here for it! Blech. MFT/Dr. Wu is the only Sandstorm I need.
Believe it or not, I bought two of these. Because the UT version's car mode doesn't come close to how it's supposed to look! And when it's time to display them, this guy will be displayed in both alt modes. And that is why I bought 2 of them!
No idea. Nobody ever bothered to OSKO either the Thrilling 30 Sandstorm or Springer, and with so many Springer options, I doubt they'll ever touch the Siege or SS86-30 Springer. And unless Legacy Sandstorm proves a hot seller or somewhat popular (and rare), I coubt we'll see even a 1:1 KO of it.
Not a fan of the overall design decisions made here ("the G1 toy with extra steps" doesn't work for everyone, ESPECIALLY when folks are expecting a show accurate robot mode, which this is ain't, as it goes All G1 Toy All The Time...). And that thing about the chest seems like it's either standard Hasbruh QC failure...or a really dumb design decision. All in all, it's still a cool figure, though. But it does make me wonder if the teeny tiny G1 toy or one of them 3P Legends are just cheaper to get instead...the only downside being that the robot mode ain't mainline compatible. 😑😑😑
