I can't help but think that this is a major reason the Jewish people do not recognize Yeshua as Messiah. Yeshua would never instruct His people to deny the authority of Yah. My parents are not Jewish and they do mot have any idea of what Israel is; nevertheless, they gave me my two names as Rony Manuel. Both names come from Hebraic roots. Rony = the one who sings and Manuel (Emanuel) = Elohim among us… indeed I love Israel and I try my best to live according to Yah’s commandments! To Him be the honor!
I don't know much, but I know when I called out to God crying "Jesus!", He certainly responded. Perhaps He responded to this because I'm English speaking, and I didn't know His Hebrew name "Yahshua!" yet, but once I did, He responded to that name also....so I don't care to debate the Name of God, because I already know He responds to "Jesus" and "Yahshuah".... since that's good enough for Him to respond, it's good enough for me.

Identity is also revealed by saying his name correctly. The name Yahweh means "he who causes to exist". In Hebrew, the literal name also tells us the person's character. They are inseparable.
Doesn't Yahweh come from the Hebrew verb "HaYah" which literally interpreted is "I AM"? When God told Moses in Exodus 3:14 "I AM [that/who/what] I AM" the Hebrew is transliterated in English as "HaYah asher HaYah".... then Jesus (His name in Greek) was "Yah-Shuah Hamashiach" which is "I AM Salvation, the Annointed" and/or "I AM Saves, the Annointed" The Name of God is the most epic Name that ever existed. Not just because of how it's used or what it means, but because of how God responds when you call out to Him by it :)

I don't find character in the definition of shem as defined by Strong's or NAS. I believe character is part or reason for a NAME, but NOT in the definition. If a person has 10 more attributes in their character how do you define that in their name. If a persons character changes how do you change that in their shem? Also breath in Shem????? I am is our common way of describing ourselves in every language. Jesus says I am the way the truth and the Life no on comes to the Father But through me, and when we introduce ourselves to others we also say I am alejandro and Jesus takes ownership of the definition of our name inside us when we speak it to others because he helps us fulfill that role in others lives, just like we take ownership of His name when we speak it to His Father so that He may hear us and remember the Salvation He promised to us Through Him. It is the same with The Old Testament. When they invoke the Names of their Fathers and call on the Gods of Isaac Abraham and Israel then they remind God of the promise He made to them to posses the promised Land. Or when they bless using the name of Ephraim and Manasseh they are forgetting their suffering of their father s land and are being abundant in a foreign place that is When He gathers them.

Lots and Lots of incorrectness in this video. You guys claim you don't want to add to the confusion. Character in Scripture is infact many different definitions based on what someone is doing or personalities, but those character traits are NOT always in the person's name. Of Yah was a rock or strong tower those descriptions have a name of their own. Yah gave us a NAME a shem, that can be defined. To describe it is adding attributes that in his personality or actions yet those aren't names. There are too many and that's why when we call on Him he gives us plainly A shem. 1 Kings 18. I could barely get 7 min in and I had to rebuke this mess of a teaching. You guys usually do good work in Yahs name. Redo this teaching asap or delete it until you are ready.
If it doesn’t matter if we know how to speak or spell his name then why not just call him Fred Flintstone? If your reply is because it isn’t spelled F-r-e-d F-l-i-n-t-s-t-o-n-e, then I suppose spelling DOES matter and referring to him by a name that ISNT his does matter.

I use it much more personal now, still use it when speaking it to others, but not afraid to use titles or the name Jesus when necessary,.
