It's a fictional disease people suffer from when they experience unrequited love. The name HanaHaki derives from two Japanese words: 'Hana' meaning 'flower' and 'hakimasu' meaning 'to throw up. ' So, when you put the two words together, you get the main symptom of HanaHaki disease, that is, coughing up flower petals.
I don't think most of them actually knew the impact of Hanahaki, just that it was something deadly and very painful. It would be great if they actually got an explanation of what Hanaki really was lol.

@@k1k2felix37 I know. I first found out about this fictional disease when I was around 11 lol. I was just saying that the other hashira could have gotten the explanation to make reaction more impactful lmao But the author said they were planning a part 2 and I am not going to rush them, so I can't wait to see it lmao
Fun fact: I have a made up disease similar to hanahaki disease inspired by it! The Hanakao disease (a mix of the words for ‘Flower’ and ‘Face’) Danger: Deadly Cure: None How it works: it is originally called a KaoSodatsu plant (a mix of the works for ‘Face’ and ‘grow’) before it gains a victim. The plant disguises as a normal flower, and if someone gets a whiff of it, they become the victim. That next spring flower will burst from the victim’s left eye socket and around the victim’s right eye. These flowers will wilt during winter and return stronger in the next cycle. This continues until either the victim dies of blood loss, pain, nerve destruction, or kill themself. Flowers will also grow from the victim’s hair and wrists during this time. Eventually, once the victims dies, the flowers will grow from all over the victim’s body, going from the head down. Once the body is fully taken over by the flowers, the vines will manoeuvre the body to the closest blooming KaoSodatsu plant and leave it there to provide nutrients to it. It is quite rare, and that is why there is no cure for it. It is able to transfer between siblings in a way that the sibling will not die from it, but still experience the symptoms. This is called the HanaSodatsu disease (a mix of the words for ‘Flower’ and ‘Grow’) but it doesn’t pass through parents or children. :D I’ve got a few ocs with it (If you’ve ever seen my channel, Loli had the Hanakao disease (she’s dead currently) and Lex has the HanaSodatsu disease)
If you do a part 2, can you show Tanjirou’s reaction to Giyuu’s death, and the hashira’s reaction too? We all know Giyuu was like a big brother to Tanjirou, especially because he stood up for Nezuko.
@@yuppersjeieojeieijeije i want to see shinobus reaction walking into the room and seeing giyuu dead then the hashiras have a funeral for giyuu then 2-3 years later they find out he’s alive (heeled by a demon=tamayo) then search for him gyomei senses a strong aura stronger than his and finds out its giyuu he then knocks giyuu out and brings him to their master then they lock him up for being half human and half god/demi god then as they test his powers it takes the form of vine’s, blue flowers and hardened water tulips in the results giyuu passed every single one protecting a human as each level got harder. Just a story line i thought of when writing this😅
what if the blue Spider Lily was the blue flower that was conveniently looking like the flower of the Hananaki disease? because a lot of people don't really get the disease and it is really rare to find the blue Spider Lily so do you guys think that the disease is associated with the blue Spider Lily?
God, the hanahaki disease is rather scary, if it was real I think half the people would die in earth 😟, but i also find that disease very interesting even if it's fake
Can’t wait for more of the hanahaki Giyuu thing, even tho hanahaki is not a great decease to have it fascinating for me which is why I like when people make videos about this fictional illness
Wait, Hanahaki isn't that disease that when your love is unrequited you cough up flowers until you know death?🥲 Let me guess who that unrequited love is... Is it sanemi or someone else? 🤔
I heard you get copyrighted if you use the hanahaki disease that’s why there is only one book that talks about the hanahaki disease story and that’s why no other anime’s or books that have stories of it😢 I’m glad I saw this because I would love to watch anime’s that include this disease ❤
My google search history be like (Don't judge) : How to get the hanahaki disease. Hanahaki disease side effects. Am i supposed to be happy if i got the hanahaki disease?. Where to buy happy pills. How to get happy pills (That's all i currently remember from my search history)
