Hashirama's Son Was STRONGER Than Naruto?! 

The easiest and most plausible answer is that Kishimoto didn't even think about Tsunade's parents. He just had a simple time lines thought like: "Mmh... Can't make her daughter of Hashirama, that would make her too old. She'll be his granddaughter. Done, problem solved."

I like the idea that this mystery child just decided to live a normal life in the village and not become a shinobi. It would explain why they aren't mentioned at all, and it would fit Hashirama's dream of creating a place where hcildren didn't need to go to war.

It's pretty sad that so much incredibly high level ninja died off camera. All that potential gone, just like that. People really underestimate the tragedy of war. Other examples of strong ninja dying off camera due to war are Jiraiya's parents, Orochimaru's parents, Minato's entire clan, every Uzumaki we haven't seen, Kakashi and Guy's mothers, Lee's parents (not confirmed dead but all evidence leads to Lee being another orphan), Kagami Uchiha, Kagami's children (who are also Shiui Uchiha's parent) and Sasuke Sarutobi (Hiruzen's dad and a legendary ninja).

Us trying to figure out who Hashirama's child is, is like trying to find out who is Tsunade's parents.

The fact this man can make a 20 min video over a character that was never really discussed is pretty impressive.

I really think they should've made a Naruto Series: Naruto The Beginning. Detailing everything before the Naruto and Shippuden timeline instead of Boruto.

Hearing the potential of being overpowered thanks to both Senju and Uzumaki blood would’ve made Tsunade sooo much more interesting and badass; in fact, fleshing out the lore and world building behind the bloodlines would’ve made the series so much better as well as a whole

Expectation: "Nick is literally going to tell us how Tsunade's dad is stronger than Naruto" Reality: "Video ends up being a Tsunade explanation on how she is Konoha royalty and said father wasn't there to raise her, nor telling us an inkling of his abilities"

Actually when they were kids Tobirama had the exact same shade of hair as the blonde half of Itama's head (really made him look like Bakugou) so maybe blonde Senju are just a recessive trait

I believe Tsunade and Hashirama, hell even Tobirama, have never spoken about her parents because she didn’t know them that long. Maybe they died shortly after her brother was born. I say this because of how Hashirama jokes about how she took after him with the gambling and all. He had to parent her and her brother until he died. Just a quick guess off the top lol

That's so true, regarding the blond hair of Tsunade and the way Senjus married outside of their clan might've been it.

I don’t think it’s possible that Tsunade’s mother was a Yamanaka, especially seeing as Tsunade doesn’t seem to exhibit any of their traits beyond blonde hair, which is likely a recessive Senju gene. I would expect something more. The idea that Kakashi’s mother was an Inuzuka for example is much more believable. However, the biggest reason why Tsunade can’t have a Yamanaka mother is her eyes. Senju, Uzumaki, and Yamanaka, all have pupil-less eyes. Hashirama *might* have pupils that just blend in with his dark brown irises, but I find that unlikely, as all his family members also lack pupils. He does have pupils in sage mode, which turns his eyes golden though. But seeing that sage Naruto and Kabuto also get gold toad/snake eyes, I find that also unlikely. Even curse mark Sasuke has the same golden eyes when he’s normally pupil-less. Tsunade does not pupil-less eyes. In fact, she has some of the most prominent irises in the series, and I don’t think you’d get that color from a Senju/Uzumaki/Yamanaka mix. You definitely could from a Namikaze, Minato and Naruto’s eyes and hair seem very dominant through multiple generations, even in Himawari. Though I’m not sure the Namikaze are a clan, it’s likely just a family name like Haruno.

The hair thing is debatable. The half had of blonde hair is one thing but Tobirama also has light(white since childhood) hair, and even the guy behind him at 5:21 has blonde hair. It could be a Recessive trait. I myself am Dark but my mom is brown and dad is Lightskinned but my grandfather amd every one born in his generation are dark skinned

There's one major problem about mito having tsunade's father while being kurama's jinchuriki with the same seal as kushina; if that happened, Tsunade would have two whisker-marks on each side of her face. So it was either a different seal or it didn't happen.

This is something I've been wondering. You've alluded to the Ino-Shika-Cho clans moving in and beginning to work together only after the village's foundation. That gives each clan an average of like 5 years per patriarch before the start of the show. Doesn't it make more sense if those clans had an alliance originating hundreds of years before the village? Much of the village's land belongs to the Nara clan. You've obviously done so much more research, but I always took it that the village was built pretty much on top of the Sarutobi alliance very willing to ally with the Senju and Uchiha.

Could've possibly been blonde, but the episodes didn't have a brighter color as they were all kind of light brown as some memory thing. Possible that he just had half brown and white hair. Or that Tobirama's hair got whiter as he got older.

Have you considered the thought that maybe her mother is from another Village (hence the blonde hair) and perhaps one of the triggers to the skirmishes of who owns the children? like these are some powerful children, great asset, good reason for a war. Hashirama’s child was probably born Before konha was founded probably 11 years before konha was founded cause Hiruzen’s 8 when it’s founded and Tsunade is born when konha was 10 years old making Hiruzen 18 when she was born so her parents must be a little bit older than Hiruzen. Which means Mito and Hashirama met before Founding konha and had a kid or kids before they found konha.

I somehow doubt that Hashirama's son was _stronger_ than Naruto. More skilled? Definitely, and I'd attribute that to the fact that he lived in a time where _everyone_ of teaching-age had _killed in mortal combat_ before, and that as the son of Hashirama, _everyone_ would feel obligated to help the lad be successful due to his potential. But in terms of power? Unlike his father, this kid was _not_ an Incarnation of Ashura, so that boost would not have been afforded him like it was to Naruto.

All we know about Hashirama's kid was that they were half Uzumaki/half Senju and they had two kids: Tsunade and Nawaki. I am wondering if he is going to point out the necklace that Nawaki wore when he was killed. I think I remember the necklace being used to seal the Nine Tails, Hashirama created the necklace (right), it got passed down to Naruto, and in one of the omake or whatever the specials was: the necklace was said to be cursed because whoever owned it died. 13:38 But, couldn't Hashirama just have delayed aging because of his cells? I mean, he could be like Tsunade be around 70 years old but still look young.

I believe Hashirama didn't want his child to be a ninja but he was assassinated because he was the strongest villages child orrrr Hashirama adopted an orphan let him take on the Senju last name and that orphan had Tsunade and her brother. it does seems like tsunade's grandma is raising her and teaches the "100-seal" technique. because it was shown that hashirama's wife is still alive when kushina met her before kushina was made the next jinchuriki.

In most cases yes the woman takes the mans last name. There is one instance of the opposite. Sai. Sai took Ino's last name and he and Inojin are known as Sai and Inojin Yamanaka. This to me says that the clan of most renown is who the clan the family enters. In Tsunade's case, whether her mother or father was Senju, the family would have entered the Senju clan. There are only a few clans that would "out rank" the Senju.

This guy was a mixture of senju and uzumaki, he probably could have been comparable to freaking ashura. The woman in the photo could have been Mito. If she'd used her strength of a hundred seal prior to the photo, the mark might have disappeared for a time. And we don't know if Uzamaki's, with their greater lifespans, are capable of getting pregnant at a much older age than what is normally possible. So she might have been in her 80s or so when she got pregnant, which would make her in her early 100s at the time of the photo. Mito also doesn't appear in any of Tsunade's flashbacks. And though her hair looks brown in the picture, the photo looks tinted brown anyway, so everything is discolored.

What if Hashirama's son died in Uzushiogakure, during it's destruction? It wasn't until Hashirama died that Uzushiogakure was attacked, and I've heard that the Hidden Villages of the Great Nations came together to destroy them. What if Konoha was involved? What if, Tobirama was instrumental in the Village Hidden in Whirpools' destruction? Could Hashirama's son have been Madara-like? Embracing his Uzumaki roots (more than likely showing more Uzumaki talent, maybe he even had red hair), he could have taken control of the Whirpools after Uzumaki Ashina died, or maybe Hashirama's son ... killed him!? 🤔 This could be the reason why Hashirama's son, and details of Uzushiogakure, were erased from Konoha's history.
