this video made me think sabito would be his lover in this case ( since yk strawberry blonde and yeah you get the point ) or first love, the one he writes about so often, and giyuu just has so much love for him and has never let go of him and that love even after sabitos death, i mean its one to fall out of love with your first but its another to loose that person before you could profess that love, to truly live your time with them knowing you told them how you felt, but he wasnt able to so it just builds up in him, the guilt i mean, the guilt he carries along will never leave no matter what, the guilt knowing he couldve changed the outcome knowing he couldve professed his love earlier, now that guilt, it may fade but like everything in our universe, its never truly gone same with his love for the boy, its eternal, there is ofcourse a possibility he would move on or find someone new but there will always be a part in his heart where that love will never die out, and knowing that giyuu carried that guilt for so long in canon i really doubt hed truly ever stop loving sabito imo

You know, I've always seen Sabito as a first love that just never went away. The love and passion Giyuu had for him had no outlet except violence and so it built up. Everyone remembers their first love and mourns it when it's over but Giyuu didnt have the option of mourning just that. He had to mourn all of that person and had to live with thinking about the possibilities of a future that will never be. It tugs on my heartstrings.
Usually I don't like the "[x] react to [character] as [other fandom character]" reactions because it's very hard to imagine that character as someone else, with different experiences even if they have similar personalities. But the way you made them react to Giyuu as Mitski, not as him being Mitski but rather him being the one who wrote the lyrics to the songs, is so creative and an AMAZING idea. It wasn't draining as other similar reactions and it didn't take away from neither Giyuu's nor Mitski's personalities and stories and only added to them. This is one of the best reactons ever!!!
Idea for the AU! Obviously, Tomioka's lover is Sabito in this AU 😍. So, Sabito didn't die in the selection, but he was injured so much that he can't slay demons anymore. He was in a coma for years, so Giyuu thought he would never wake up again for a while, that would be when he wrote some of the songs. Tomioka still feels extreme guilt about the situation, and adding that to the death of his sister, he became really depressed during that time.
