Just a tip: if you memorize the way they introduce themselves (when they say their names/their names are shown) all you need to remember is that the surname comes before the name (for example Tomioka Giyuu/Giyū instead of Giyuu/Giyū Tomioka, Uzui Tengen instead of Tengen Uzui and so on). You can also just memorize the surnames since only people who are close to each other are allowed to say each other’s names while everyone else refers to them with their surnames!
