I was in the streets till about 10th/11th grade when too many friends started dying n going to jail. Funny thing i realized, when you around REAL street dudes, they respect you for doing something positive. My hood affectionately called me "College Kid" when i got into college on a full scholarship. If you practice art, science, play sports, computers, not only do they respect it, they protect you and make sure you stay out of any negativity. Sadly, not all hoods are created equally.
Okay that sounds nice for a BET feel good movie but in the streets streets niggas is grimy ain't nobody really trying to give you a thumbs up for going to college most of the time niggas is calling you a square. And I'm not saying that from a wannabe tough standpoint I'm saying that from Knowing damn well it's not like most Street dudes Care about college kids. Them nigga don't give a fuck about you unless they knew you since you were little.
@@captainplanet5676 thanks. That's why some of these ppl kill me n come off as lying about street stuff. No real street dude gonna know you going to college n say "school, man forget gettin out da hood, come sell this pack for me!" No they gonna say stay on ya books and off the streets n prolly hit u off with something to pay for books.
Tekashi 69 Was Known As Lil Danny on Myrtle And Broadway In Brooklyn NY...He Was A Cool Kid But No Angel...Just That His Success Attracted The Wrong People And He Became Someone Else
Hassan must of forgot that snitch9 was putting hits out on rappers and taunting every gangsta in every city...he was an adult at the time, not a ķid, and he had chomo charges on him...Hass is trippin
@@endrykperez412 You have gangsters thats with that weirdo stuff that Tekashi got charged for. Nicki Minaj husband got them same charges but he’s Mac and people who know in NY they have power to get your throat cut quick so they be quiet on that and plus Nicki will fund it. I’m spilling too much game for y’all 🤫
OG always bringing the 100% TRUTH to the situation. Bringing wisdom to chaos. Much appreciated. I also feel like ppl are giving Tekashi the poor lil Latino that the BLACKS caught up in their lifestyle. He was jacking CRIP, then BLOOD & then joined 9Trey. FOH!! He may have been young, but he made a choice. THEN while he was down he was putting HITS on ppl & involved in ALL type of f'$hit. FOH!!
Thank you I hate how they spin the narrative like he was some innocent kid that the bloods took advantage of ... he was damn near the leader of nine trey because the influence he had bad or good ...rat boy knew exactly what he was doing and he knew he was gonna take them down in the end
Where's Hassan jewelry 🤔. Snitch9 was not a good kid at all. He had his own bs in Brooklyn trolling gangs. The crops beat him down on his stoop so he switched sides. Snitch9 had his own small stream for a little while. All that disappeared
West coast got shit to do with it. There were gangs in NY before Cali was even a state. All you have to do is swap out the names "Bloods" and "Crips" and replace them with the old NY gangs that they were before they converted, and you would have the same conversation happening. One thing I will agree with you though, the gangs here in NYC are very dysfunctional and have no structure. Even less structure than in the West, and it was always viewed that West Coast has no structure with their gangs. This new era of kids have no guidance.
What bro said at 1:15 is what I've been saying was the reason Daniel told in the first place. He had to tell in order to stay out of prison. He was not gonna have a good time in the box with a sexual assault on his sheet... And it was on a minor. He was food and he knew it. Now he can never go to jail for being double dirty.
Hassan says a lot of good believable things and he's very convincing to the unsavy listener... Sure it's 90% BS & nonsense... But that 10% fact is so distracting! He's good lol
And I’m glad someone finally said it .. NONE OF US SUPPOSED TO BE IN THESE STREETS, it’s a facade. We all supposed to be doing epic things with our lives..
Tekashi didn't manipulate them. They was seeing $$$$$$ signs and wanted a piece of his money. They let him get too close tho so I agree that they weak street generals for it
As true as all that is, he still strategically used their muscle to instigate beefs and unnecessarily put ALOT of people in harms way just to up his clout. So yea, they absolutely manipulated each other
Ask yourself would nine trey let a broke mufuka do this to them? Nope. It was greed on their part. Their greed was what did them in. Some of yall acting like Tekashi some master manipulater or some shit 🤣🤣
This clips perfectly illustrates the issue with our community...I've lived in the hood for years and I always had a choice wasn't anything about to make me bang or be in the streets
If you grew up in a certain era . Real OG's looked out for kids in da hood . I'm born raised West Side of Chicago Little Village da hood hood ok . But back in the 80's and 90's it was a different time in da hood. You could tell if a kid is gonna be dead in 3 months if he Wants the street life.. there's always dudes that'll bring anyone into the gang or hustle life for there own being.
Some areas are so gang heavy that it's either join a gang be affiliated with them or become treated like a stranger on your street. Don't forget you area isn't the only one ☝🏾.
Facts, Brodie. Accountability!! It's mad how people will do a marathon of "mental gymnastics" which takes a helluva lot of time, energy and effort instead of owning their shit! Great comment my guy, be well and much luv. Cheers.
I like Hassan thoughts when he’s being challenged on his thoughts instead of sitting alone and being able to just rant. Good look Hoffa and great convo
Hassan is so smart on some many different areas and topics and can debate with anyone and win. But these other dudes had no clue what they were talking about. They were just saying shit they heard other people saying. One dude said Tekashi raped that girl which is completely false. No sexual contact at all!! He was charged w/indecency of a minor for posting a pic of her and him with her bra on. It's a perfect ex of how false narratives get out. U can't put rape on somebody unless ur 100% certain of the facts of the case. Best part tho is when someone said Jim Jones never goes to jail cuz he's got the most money &powerful lawyers bhhahahahahahHHhhaa thankfully Hass set the facts that Jimmy is broke! Do yall still really believe he's this OG street ninja? The man was on a fed wiretap laying out the blueprint on killing Tekashi. The feds scooped up everyone on those wiretaps except for Jim Jones. He should be thanking tekashi cuz if it wasn't for him getting on that stand Jim Jones would've had to testify to keep his freedom.
@@movieplug5117 dude is a walking hypocrite. he lives nothing he talks about . profits off Black Death. hes all talk. everything he says is common sense. he admitted to touching kids in this interview
Shotti was supposed to mold Tekashi and keep him out the way. He fumbled the bag. Tekashi was getting to a big bag and the money made them feel unstoppable.
I think the point he was trying to make was they put that battery in that boys back. He thought he was untouchable because the people that were backing him told him he can do all that shit. He was trolling because he believed he can get away with it. They fumbled the bag and should have kept him away from the bullshit.
@@antoinejenkins2096 that's true but they allowed him to do that reckless shit. If they woulda kept him as the bread winner and out the bullshit, them brothers would still be eating. They probably would still be locked because of the CEO Chris dude but they would have still had the bread winner.
@@jusforever8185 how they couldn't control him they was all in my prison shorty was the devil its no excuses I think if he was black thier would be no excuses I hate shorty cause y does he get a pass
@@antoinejenkins2096 no pass given, he a certified stooly. But! They put themselves in that position. They didn't groom that boy into that life. That's their fault.
Facts, you don’t wanna be in the streets, stay on the curve💯he wasn’t a “good kid,” putting hits on folks and be@ting his BM! He threw his childhood friend under the bus, who didn’t do anything.
The problem is with black folks is that we ant to be treated as a "kid" when it convenient for us. Sha'carri Richardson was a "kid", and she's 22. People will hold Takashi as responsible for joking the gang. But let it be a situation where it's a black man with white men, then they will blame the white folks. Just switch the colors, and the attitude changes.
Thank you OG!!! Hassan trying to give 69 a pass. It’s plenty of black 15,16, 17, yr olds who doing a lot of time. Hassan trippin!! 69 supposed to be be in prison!
They should have told to, in da streets there's no love..I could only wonder now that they are in jail if their homies are taking care of their families 🤔
@@boalifevida7212 if you even had a ounce of understand you would be able to see that this guy a groupie. The dumb will follow the dumb. You and the gossip King can happily ever after. Clown 🤡
This is the problem with Hassan. He speaks a lot of real good facts that need to be said, but then he ruins it by going way to far and placing way to much blame on one individual.
I wouldn’t label him an adult. But yeah the “kid” narrative is getting a bit annoying. Now choppa, nba young boy. Neither were ever referred to as “just kids”.
This is the 1st dialog where I'm not annoyed with hassan, he showed great integrity with this panel. They held him accountable for his statements an he came back valid. 💪🏿
No if you born into gang violence how can you make a choice ? When you might be a target ? If they can’t can’t to the person they want they they will kill you
And let me add. If a black man did the same thing 69 did. Nobody would've been defending him. So why are y'all letting 69 get a pass? Keep that same energy to these nonblack folks
The boy slow as fk.. 69 wanted to use the gang to hype his music career and went to far and told. In comparison to say the white girl who works at rocnation. No way in hell the cartel letting her breathe if she did. Now Jim convo is a no argument with that
Respectfully……….when homie wit the dreads said that dudes CHOOSE The streets rather than the streets Choosing THEM? In a way he’s Right. Dudes do make the choice to sell dope. You know why I say that? Technically, anybody can get a job at McDonald’s or any fast food spot. But dudes don’t WANT to work at McDonalds because they feel like it’s “beneath” them and they fear they’ll be Clowned. But anybody who laughs At somebody whose trying to go the straight and narrow path and is humble enough to start at the bottom? That person is a CLOWN And who needs the Validation of a Clown? But dudes don’t think like that. They don’t wanna be laughed at and looked down on so they CHOOSE To Start trappin. And THAT Is a Choice. Just because the other option (McDonald’) ain’t appealing that don’t mean it doesn’t count as an Option. It STILL Counts as an option. And an Option is a CHOICE. 🤷🏽♂️
False. McDonalds/fast food jobs are NOT always hiring. When I was 14-15 years old I went around to every fast food job in my area. Dominos, Baskin Robbins, to the local supermarket. Filled out and returned applications for all of em and got hired at NONE of them. It wasn't my choice for them to NOT hire me. It's circumstances like this that can lead people to sell drugs or steal.
This is still closeminded, that’s only true if a nine to five covers your needs,if you need to help pay rent and pay for food, clothes, and your young, one parent household?,you might need to sell drugs
It’s a victim mentality and an excuse to fall back on so they don’t have to work a job…these dudes sit around all day selling drugs, scamming, pimping, making music, etc hanging out all day with their friends on the block having fun for the most part then act like life’s tough and hit u with the excuses like dude above said “Macdonald’s ain’t always hring”, that’s a joke…go to Wendy’s then, Burger King, subway or the million other food chains..it’s cuz they don’t want that it’s that simple, it’s slow money and let’s be real working sucks nobody likes it and it’s even worst when u working everyday all day and bringing home 300$..so then the choice is made and what u think they gonna choose to do out of those two options… this isn’t Africa like Hoffa said, put one of those African kids in America and watch them go work hard and love their life.
@@Vat6ré it doesn’t always gotta be drugs or illegal…go resell clothes, sneakers, go get a cdl, look into things…u can literally make a living with just a computer, it’s 2022..u ain’t gotta sell fetanyl to survive. Victim mentality is the weakest thing it’s like a disease
@@graciashermano725 still not a kid keep making excuses for him he wanted to be down it went down he told in a hot 10 months foh shortest street career in history
Everyone in this life has a choice and if you make the wrong moves you go down faster then you know it so be careful of certain people in this world and stay prayed up. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017.
The people and the hood need to learn that they got to do for them selfs. Hassan aint the goverment and people like you shouldnt be depending on what he could five. Grow up
Math a smart dude. If Desiree Perez brought down two cartels and can still be out and about. Than there is a reason she feels safe enough to be a public figure
Yea that's interesting, also she got pardon by trump even tho jayz disses trump. I think she's more than a federal informant/working at roc nation..idk what tho
No it’s not Federal Agent 🤦🏾♂️😂Jus cuz u say violate sumone don’t make it a crime. Violate can mean anything…What if, just saying, what if, “Violate” is in the books. And it actually means just cut him off, and stop fucking with them, not hurt them…Then what?!!…Violate don’t mean shit. Y’all reading too much into it and listening to a known snitch and a old ass TROLL abt a wire tap. Cmon, b real💯😒
@@WEGOTBUCKSENT365 he did say something about shooting at the security tho. That's a specific act. He literally said that, wasn't nothing to read into.
