a divides b then how (1,2) is a relation. 1/2 =0.5 and 2/1=2

A divides b means there is a integer (n) such that B = An So it means n = B/A You have it flipped

Hasse diagram has been used in mutliple projects. A research paper from an author who i dont remember the name used hasse diagrams for bridge and city engineering. Hasse diagram is actually just a pictoral representation of the relation.
