8:02 it's so madly amazing that, even though arnold and robert never speak to each other and always fight upon sight in a scene, this part marks the first time where arnold says something to robert, even though robert cannot hear it.

No its not. The only time they talk to each other is when the T800 calls John's foster parents and the T1000 has already killed the mom. Granted they're using other voices but they are speaking to each other.

In the remake, the good Terminator won't be able to say *_"It's him"_* like Arnie does at 0:28 , gender neutral pronouns only. The T-1000 is liquid metal and gender fluid. One minute it's posing as a male cop, then it's pretending to be John Connor's step mom....how are we supposed to know what gender the T-1000 identifies as?

Fun fact: Robert Patrick was so committed to the role of the T-1000, that he allowed them to freeze and blow him up to tiny pieces to maintain the realism. Phenomental actor.

He mentioned in an interview that in the scene where the T-1000 emerges from the flames during the truck explosion, he went further back into the flames than the crew were expecting him to during one of the takes.

I think Cameron had trouble convincing a real helicopter pilot to do this. it's not CGI it's real. I believe union cameraman refused to film it so Cameron filmed it himself.

I love John as a character but I feel like saying the same thing to the little wise ass. Also, it drives me up the wall when hes sticking his face out from under the flack jackets and he almost gets hit. "Get your face under there you little s**t! Gosh darn it!"

Salvation was decent compared to T3 and the ones after I think. Unfortunately Genisys had subpar plot and mostly bad casting. The only great aspect was the references and details of those references.

@@Dylank001 the t-1000 is a liquid metal shapeshifter so definitely intentional to show how it can shoot and drive at the same time. Interesting that this ability (having multiple limbs) wasn't used more in the movie though.

More proof that Terminator 2 : Judgment Day is the greatest action movie ever made. We wouldnt have The Matrix or the MCU today without timeless action scenes like this. Yes, we had some good superhero fights before like in Superman II and Batman. But i think the Terminator did the first truly great superhero s**t in this movie... and hes not even considered a superhero. Cameron showed us the possibilities in Terminator 2 and put this movie on a whole other level.

5:42 The way the T-800 moves so flawlessly and aggressively across to the other vehicle is so badass! No hesitation, fear or doubt. Then unloads a clip on the T-1000 in a picture perfect stance on the hood of the truck!😂😂😂 Man when you have a Terminator defending you its awesome, but boyyyy if they are against you then your up shits creek...

The semi flip is a combination of real truck and scale model shots. The action sequences and the camera work makes you wonder if this is really a film that was released in 1991.

I like the difference I saw between the two models when they were both robbing vehicles from other people. One was quick to stab (didn’t need to happen) and the other was lenient, and just demanded the vehicle.

Always wondered why she was shooting at the T1000 and not the main rotor shaft. The slightest damage to that causes wobble which very quickly would cause the main rotor to shred the shaft and the chopper crash.

4:41 The T-800 should have hit the brakes passing the semi. The T-1000 would not be able to stop or turn around as fast and the semi between them would break a lot of possible impact.

Think that is another thing that makes T-1000 so terrifying: the fact that it always looks so pristine. Besides the nitrogen nothing and the molten metal at the end. Nothing seems to phase it. So you don't get any sens of progress when you're fighting it. It just seems to keep coming in top shape.

Actually shooting on t-1000 while he was frozen is the wrongest decision Keep carrying the Connor parents to leave the factory and keep t-1000 in frozen will be a better choice

Now imagine the T-800 knew the T-1000 could reform again if the ice melted... what if it didn't shoot to keep it frozen ? They could have keep it in ice, capture it and keep it in a well guarded, like, kevlar room or something ? I bet humans would have 'studied' it long enough to create another disaster though.

Well no..thats asking for trouble?.....but the t800 couldv just picked up the frozen t1000 and chucked him in the molten metal then....wouldv saved a lot of extra hassle! But tbh as much as i love this movie it is massively flawed...after the events of t1 skynet must know exactly who sara conner is...so why attack her later in life when shes had time to prepare...just send a t1000 back to sarah just before the events of t1 and shed be clueless?
