I recently found out my partner has his Sun and Mercury in Hasta, 10th House. The description for this Nakshatra matches him to a high degree. He is a highly-paid Software developer and a large part of his job is problem solving with code. He's excellent with math/logic and has a very sharp intellect, taking everything into consideration. His nature is incredibly calm, detail oriented, yet loves to joke and understands other people well. He absolutely adores Ravens, and wanted to name his future child, Corvin. Hello everyone, Just correcting some minor mistakes of mine. 1. When Harvey made a landfall at Rockport Texas on 25th August 2017 10 pm CDT the moon was transiting Chitra nakshatra. However, when the moon was transiting Tula navamsha so swati nakshatra in D9 on that day the Harvey hurricane was getting strengthened rapidly. Exactly at the landfall at Rockport the Spica or Chitra star (moon position) was setting and Arcturus or Swati, the star of wind was going to set next. 2. Rohini Hasta and Shravana are 10th nakshatra from each other which is karma nakshtara and not Param-mitra as I said in the video at around 10:00 minutes 3. The other was as mentioned mistakenly wrote the lord of Chitra as Vishwamitra. It is actually Vishwakarma or Twastar.

The connection with the turmeric and Hasta nakashtra, turmeric milk increases vitality by destroying the respiratory allergies and Sun (words resembling gold used in Vedas for Hasta) represents vitality, especially in men.

One observation - Shradh rituals are followed when Sun is in Virgo in hasta , rituals are done for forefathers, feeding crow is essential part of that ritual and interestingly Moon, the nakshatra lord, is also in Hasta on New moon day , which is most comprehensive day for the given ritual.

I'm a Hasta ascendent person and mercury in Hasta also. Please do part 2 of Hasta nakshatra 🙏🏻. I think astrologers need to go deeper with Hasta because unless there are people with telekinetic powers, we all use our hands a lot, every day, all the time even without anything in Hasta so I don't understand the strong focus with hands. I have my rahu in hasta and the moments that I use my hands and invest my time into my projects, my financial accounts improve and expand. Atmakarika Venus in Hasta 4th Pada 8th house - I am an energy healer but currently both my hands are injured and I came across with the video. While watching I've been having a tough time to grab things, thinking Venus in Hasta is being hard on me ! Kudos to the Pai team for this excellent session! My moon is in Hasta (12th house) with Jup(R) and Sat(R) and I'm able to relate to almost all of the characteristics. MahaVishnu (an ardent devotee of Lord Balaji), Mahabharata (big fan of the Epic/Bhagavad Gita), Serving (interested in dredging wells, want to abolish manual scavenging), Art (good at it, didn't develop past a point), Comedy (not hurtful, but sarcastic humor), Routine (like to stick to a regime), Emoji's (love this emoticon - 😂), Punctuality (like to be on time, but not no successful), Waxing and waning career (multiple breaks in job) and Marriage issues (divorced) Interestingly, my Venus is in Rohini (8th house) and Ketu in Shravana (4th house).

It seems like Hasta is a very fertile nakshatra in that it incorporates various permutations and combinations of kriyas. What drew my attention the most in this video was the connection between ashvini, bharani and punarvasu, as presented by Dr. Togi. I wish we could hear some more on that. I have always felt that Hasta and Bharani have a very close connection with each other. Another interesting point worth noting in this presentation is the point raised by Eve ji about being humble and human lest the siddhis get the better of you (cf. Krishna/kamsa connection). It seems like Hasta is also sharp like Krittika (spear/scissors/sword/knife). In the Rider-Waite Tarot deck, the queen of swords represents a widow/separted/world-wise/sharp woman who cuts through lies and deception (hasta: widow-maker nakshatra). Mercury in hasta gives a good grasp on vocabulary too. Dr. Kanholi's observation of Hasta in regards to the names of the Sun was brilliant! The study of names is called onomastic analysis, if i am not wrong. I also thought of handwriting analysis. Mercury in Hasta with a twelfth house connection can make one an interpreter of dreams/symbols and extremely intuitive. The point on laughter/humour was spot on. Also, Hasta gives youthful appearance. P.s. Bharani moons are usually impregnated with multiple ideas to the point that it feels like the carefully collected and sorted thoughts may slip away in no time. To a Bharani native, their insights manifest almost like a flash of lightening and disappear just as quickly.

I know someone with Lagna lord Merc in Deep exaltation in Hasta and Sun just entering Hasta in the 4th house. Because of the Sun with Mars conjunct also, that person's father served in the military but as an officer managing the accounting and clerical office of that regiment. Merc in Hasta makes that person an expert and perfectionist cook and reiki practitioner. Loves cooking to more serve and give to other people than for self. They use cooking as a mode of service to humanity. And good at penning thoughts into effective write-up's . Because there are strong energy vibrations coupled with force, felt while slamming the facial nerves with an open palm than a closed fist punch, which only has force.

I have Mars in Hasta, but retrograde. With saturn retrograde in Chitra. Both in the 3rd house. I'm a bit of a butter fingers. Tried learning veena but it was disastrous! As a hasta native I absolutely loved listening to this! I had so many alignments with aspects discussed here. One thing that really made me laugh was “hasta people are always punctual” -No! However it’s one thing I have to work in continuously so perhaps it will be come true for me as I continue to mature. On my D9 chart, Saturn (lord of 11th and 12th) is in Hasta (pada 1) in my 7th house; and on my D60, Ketu (lord of 8th and 10th) is in Hasta (also in pada 1) in my 10th house!
