This masterpiece of a song has been on my playlist for years. In the last year (2022-2023), as we've seen the signs of the soon coming rapture piling up, this song, to me, now speaks of us believers leaving this earth as "every flower stares and watches as the Wind (Spirit) takes me away (harpazo)" "Blowing by the flowers sleeping, no one knows the leaves are leaving". The rapture will take place in the Autumn on whatever year it happens. The 4 spring appointed times have been fulfilled. The 3 fall appointed times are soon to be fulfilled. The harpazo is the next event on God's appointed times.
I own a dvd with live performances of Haste The day. They played an acoustic version of this song for kids in a classroom. I thought that was cool of them.
I remember when this first came out and it’s been so long.. It remains probably the most beautiful song Ive ever heard. Next to Dust in the Wind by Kansas.
i had this ep back in 2002 or 2003. i used to put this in my boombox and put this song on repeat and turn the sleep timer on when i would go to bed. id listen over and over as i went to sleep. to this day this song will bring tears to my eyes because it takes me back to a certain place. this song is a masterpiece in my book. honestly this ep was a maserpiece and i cant believe these guys were so young when they wrote it. "and that they know you" i still have my signed hard copy of this from 20 years ago.
This song gives me goosebumps every fcking time from 4:00 or so, while the whole song is so amazing chill. this is realy one of a kind. fck yeah haste the day
Its 3:50 am sept. 23rd 2019 in McAllen TX and I'm drunk in my car listening to this beautiful song maxed out and singing it at the top of my lungs... this takes me way back and the nostalgia is fucking real Rn 😥🍻🤘
Still have to listen to all the recordings of this song wish they were still making music and being story tellers well for what it's worth they need to get back together because the changing of the age and well just about made it and no war the first time it's ever been done I think without war with love Darth Vice
This is a really sad song for me. Especially the live acoustic recording. I lost one of my best friends in 2014 to an overdose. He was one of the greats and is still terribly missed today. I think before the 10 yr anniversary I'm gonna get some these lyrics tattooed on my body somewhere
