HATAY DORTYOL KUZUCULU TRIP

HISTORY OF KUZCULU

In the excavations carried out in Kinetinhöyük on the seaside in Yeşilköy town of Dörtyol district, it was found in the BC. Artifacts dating back to 6000 years have been found. B.C. Remains of burnt houses, animal figures and many historical artifacts belonging to the 18th century were found. Kinetinhöyük, an old bay harbor, is a very old settlement center that hosted many tribes.
However, the old historical remains (grave, cave, etc.) in and around Kuzuculu belong to the Romans and Byzantines.
Although the first establishment of Kuzucular is not known for certain, it is estimated that it was founded 450-500 years ago (in the 1450-1500's).
