Sir i like your vedio. I want to ask if you can give me favor, what will be the feeds if your hatch eggs is alive. How many days from hatching you give feeds. Thank you. I will follow ypur yt and fb
To treat your water you need an Aquaculture water engineer to take your water to the lab for analysis and also to install an Aquaculture water treatment plant for you ....you can contact us on 09031161189 for further assistance
How many months do the cat fish started developing eggs please, and the male how many months do they too start developing sperms please I really need your answer
You are right,..it will b used for consumption purpose after the milt has been removed, tho some pple stitches the belly back with the hope that the milt sack might regenerate, we have tried it before at Buskat fish farm, but we discovered that it isn't worth it....just cook your male fish the best suitable way for you consumption
@@philipomamacito4969 a female and male catfish above 1year old is classified as brood stock, which is good to go for production, but while the male can b used from 1year old,it is adviced that the female should be at list 1year 2month or 1year 4month old for better result and matured offspring
I need to point out certain mistakes: 1. do you mean you breed directly under the sun without any covering for the incubating tank? 2. if the above question is yes. how then do you manage algae bloom or case of overfertilization? 3. why are you using your bare hands to spread the eggs instead of plastic spoon or feather?
@@adegbitedare2982 thanks for ur observations sir,but those are not mistakes, yes the facility is an outdoor facility, and we cover the pond leaving little space for cross ventilation, thereby also reducing algae bloom. Secondly you can use any clean tools/method to spawn your eggs e.g,spoon, feather, painting brush or bair hands, which ever is convenient for you as long as they are clean and igenic ..thank you
Thanks for the complement sir...we will b happy to work you through the process and your journey in the fish farm industry...feel free to reach out to us on +2349031161189
@@chijiokeonyebiri3366 I built an Aquaculture water treatment plant,so the water passes through it before entering the pond, you can check our list of videos you will see where we installed the same plant for a farm in enugu state
Great job 👍 but I learnt you will add drip water to the milt extracted and also you didn't tell us the hours it will take for the eggs to hatch. Is it advisable to expose the eggs to sunlight
In as much as your milt is superb, you don't need to add saline solution to it any more....the function if the saline is to keep the milt alive but not active so as for you to properly mixed the egg and milt together for better saturation... * It takes 24 to 30 hours for the egg to Hatch completely *it depends...
@@EkongNyoho if you want to,you will need to make sure you give video credit to buskat aquatics and academy, and also put a our youtube link that can direct viewers from your page to our page ✌️
Nice job and very simple practical presentation. Please how can one extract the brain of the male fish to use it as hormone instead of ovuline? Or which other method can one use apart from Ovuline? Thank you
@@iortyomkennethterhemba3394 thanks for the complement sir,to answer your questio,it isn't the brain that is extracted,it is the pituitary gand that is extracted, which is located in a chember-like bone structure inside the fish head....keep following our channel as we sill post a content regarding that very soon
Well, why not the natural hatchery method? The artificial method used is not sequential & incomplete. The name of the hormone injected, what is the dosage/female catfish weight. An inconclusive lecture. Study your facts brother.
May I know what u mean by natural hatchery method plz,Secondly if something seems missing in the video u r free to ask questions instead of attacking,3rdly,I don't call brand names coz I wasnt paid for advert,so hormone is hormone,#4, the dosage of the hormone was clearly said in the video and the weight of the fish to be given was also said in the video.....if u have a fact beyond what was posted, since you have a youtube channel,u can as well post the content regarding that on your channel.....thank u
Nice and simple, but which kind of net could one use, quantity of injected ovulin and what would be the age or wight of male?is the male fish going to be killed for to get the sperm to mix with the eggs? please,i want to learn from you, thanks.
Thank u sir/ma ...for the needed net you can contact us for an Aquaculture spawning net,and for more details on injecting and ovulin dosage kindly check our video content titled Fish injecting ...for further enquiry or assistance don't hesitate to reach out to use on 09031161189 for consultation service .Thank you
It depends on the weight of each fish, but at least for a starter who wants to achieve a good result,10kg gravid femal and 3kg male will deliver your expectation....you can contact us on 09031161189 for more info, guidelines and consultation
If your water parameter is ok,u can run flow through for oxygen purpose, but if your water parameter isn't ok,or you are not sure of it you need not run flow through
Kindly reach out to us for a spawning net that will conveniently hold your fish eggs for positive result, regardless of the egg size...contact 09031161189
You can Hatch both indoor and outdoor in as much as all conditions are met....but indoor is the best option especially durring cold and hamattrn season
It depends on your preference and weather condition,....if the weather is not too cold,u can leave it opened ,but if the weather is cold, you should cover it....,though most of the time,i cover mine
My eggs don't normally hatch well. Many of the eggs turns white and the fertilized once only few will manage to hatch. What could be the problem. I use treated water and my broodstocks are above two years.
Salt is not used to correct PH...there are other component used specifically to correct PH in aquaculture.....you can contact us on 09031161188 for more assistance and info
