I just started watching your channel for that matter I just found it. I am the son of a waterman. That fished on the Potomac river in Widerwater Va. No I am not a waterman. I choose to go into diesel mechanics so I could keep the boats running. Btw no rusty filters lol. And I bet the socket you lost was a 10mm. But I have seen the rivalries between watermen. I have a background in seafood, from the age of 16 I worked at a fish house packing shrimp…. As I got older I when to work with a processing plant out of New Orleans driving trucks and delivering shrimp. Also picked up hundreds of tractor trailer loads of fresh shrimp during the season. You need an electrician friend to set up a camper hookup with a meter at your lot so you don’t have e to have the generator and then you can move a small shed on the premise and build off that. Love your in MD!

I'm in jersey and I catch crabs myself costs me my flounder carcasses and my time and I load up. Same crabs ya get down there in Maryland. $75 a dozen?! Did I read that right?! Just shows how lazy we have become as a society. No one wants to get things themselves so I guess paying 75 bucks for 12 crabs is where we are at. Sad shit if you ask me.

my solution to the crab population issue is to simply make it to where no one at any point in the season are allowed to keep females i see too many crabbers by the key bridge at the end of the year crabbing what i know is a spot loaded with females

The issues are the economy and Spring has not got to Pasadena yet until like now. Today's temp is up but tomorrow's high is a whopping 80 degrees, in June, in Maryland. Rest of the week is down in the 70's again. Just not that summer time crabs and beer feeling yet.

Hey Luke you may already know but ima make sure you do incase you dont. You can purchase an aftermarket fuel cap for that generator that allows you to plumb in a secondary tank above the generator & it will gravity feed into the gen tank through the new cap via a hose as needed.🙌 Fairly cheap to buy the kit & you can source an old vehicle tank or something for nothing. Or bypass the gen tank completely & just feed from the aux tank. Can't imagine handling fuel then crabs is convenient for you at your lot. That would eliminate you touching or needing fuel cans completely. Just a suggestion love the vids & your great attitude my friend. I hope you have a great yr. Stay safe & keep crabbin bub👊
