The Hatsan FLASH was a huge hit when it was introduced a few years ago. A couple years after the FLASH first arrived, Hatsan released a wood stock version of this powerful PCP rifle. This is a full review of the .22 caliber FLASH wood from Utah Airguns. This powerful, yet compact PCP pellet rifle is a favorite among airgunners due to it's reliability and accuracy. In this video you will get an up close look at this beautiful PCP as well as see how accurate is it out to 50 yards. The Hatsan FLASH wood as well as other quality Hatsan air rifles are available at UTAH AIRGUNS by clicking here: utahairguns.co...

I just picked a .22 Flash Wood off of the Hatsan USA Refurb site. $244 shipped. It is an outstanding gun! Love the wood! Ergonomics are first rate! This Baby is tuned HOT! On a full tank it is shooting 18.1 JSB/JTS/H&N pellets at 970 fps! The H&N Barracuda 21.14gr Match are shooting at 905 fps as are the 21gr .217 slugs. I haven't shot for accuracy yet. Loving this gun!

I did some tuning on the chronograph. I took the action out of the stock and took the hammer spring out. Hatsan has a bushing along with the hammer spring that jacks up the preload on the spring. I removed the bushing and turned down the tension on the spring. I was able to get JSB Hades 15.89gr pellets to start out at 860 fps and end up at 835 fps through 4 magazines, or 48 shots on a fill. High fps was 930 fps. This gun is a hunting machine! I also removed the QE shroud, and replaced it with a 20mm carbonfiber shroud and a carbonfiber Terminadator Industries Wiener Dog Suppressor. 30% quieter than the factory QE and more accurate too. Just saying. I have a similar setup on my .25 Flashpup. This platform rocks! I love it! Next up, a .22 Vectis!

I love my Flashpup's, I have two in .25, the original when they first came out, and the second edition in synthetic. My oldest wood model is my go-to gun for anything, well largeish, I have one tuned for heavy lead and distance (it has no issues at 135 yards with that setting), the other for midweight which I keep within 85 yards, but it'll do a hundred no problem.

@@AirgunChannel that's exactly what it did, brought it down to low 700s, there's no markings on there regulator, but I tried adjusting it every which way and nothing, I thought of a Huma regulator but from the videos I saw you have to file a notch through your threads and on the top edge, no thanks...I'm not screwing up my cylinder, it does awesome without it after a few tweaks and adjusted the trigger to under 1 pound, getting groups around a dime size at 50 yards, anyways, waiting on your next video man, love how you go over everything 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

You can get tit to be super accurate with a regulator and some tuning. The Flashwoods barrel is extremely good for shooting pellets and relatively accurate with a few lighter slugs. FX hybrids shoot well. Even better are the NSA 20 and 17gr slugs. Pure joy to shot. I have also got a custom 30" L&W barrel on mine Flash.
@smokeytheanimal3662
@smokeytheanimal3662 2 года назад
Today, I must say the savings angle is sweet! Also, I've been thinking about the bottleneck effect on these unregulated air-guns and have an idea which may be functional. The add-on compressor air filter fitted with neodymium donut magnets to fill the filter tube, which would generate the magnetic field the air charge must pass through on it's way to the rifle's air tank. The purpose is to fill it with free-radical air gasses, which should allow free non-stick movement of air gas molecules while moving from the tank through the valve and other parts, it may even add a little FPS and control the FPS CURVE from lower to higher to lower. So, I enjoy your channel and your review of the Flash Wood, I have the Pyle Driver, .45 Cal., myself, it's a bolt action single shot model. Have a great day!

There is more where that came from, You have to mix 4 seconds or less of different parts of the song so RU-vid doesn't catch it. If I put over 4 seconds unchopped, it will be OK, but they would kill my video instead of promoting it.

Hey brother great video. I just picked up the Hatsan Hydra synthetic 177 rifle for $200.00 bucks. I have shot 100 or so pellets thru it and the bolt is really really hard to pull back. It starts off easy then about halfway it gets super difficult. I've lubed all parts with silicone oil while the barrel assembly is off to get to everything and it still is way to difficult to cycle. If you stand the rifle on stock butpad and pull straight down it's easier. I set the trigger at 1 pound before i fired any shots, does it cock easier if you set it heavy? I'll try that tomorrow and any ideas from you or your viewers is appreciated. Haven't touched the hammer spring but it's shooting 16 grain pellets at 915 fps. Thanks man for all the killer content and your lights out accurate shooting as well!😊

I Got one (wood, .177) from midway (clearance for $219) a few months ago, and put a simmons $50 scope on it, upon reading reviews and watching videos, besides my own experience, and im noticing these guns are shooting really fast, accuracy is suffering with lighter pellets, and i would tend to believe it would be a more accurate rifle if i could just slow it down about 50 to 75 fps. I already adjusted the hammer spring and im backed all the way out. I saw in one video of a guy changing the hammer spring adjustment screw but he didnt go into detail on size or process. i love that lil gun ...but i would also love to get it to shoot a little better. if anyone can help or share their thoughts i would appreciate it.
