I'm starting to think Hatsan just doesn't want to innovate anymore. It's a great looking gun with the functionalities of one from 8 years ago at a premium price.
And let's not forget their quality control and customer service are horrendous... Like they just released the velox and it only makes 15 fpe in .25 mean while for the a tad less you can get the sorte in .25 and get 20 fpe and it's semi auto with the ability to add a rear brace which it comes with to make it a sbr...
Mine too. Did Nate move to the US already? Good idea . Im sure his shooting will improve by a big factor, Nate teaches the tuning so perfectly and logically , which even I understand. And if he had a more stable platform bench/vice people could see what the guns he reviews can really do.
Another great video! Wow...it shot through those 3 water filled containers, that thing smacks a good punch! Thank you once again for all your hard work for us air-gunners!
Thank you man for your kind words and renews support! Indeed, this gun is a true beast and I only barely scratched the surface with my video :) Thank YOU again!!
Awesome looking rifle nice 1. Yasssss a Texas Star, good man although looks like you will have to swap the magnets for better ones same as me if you want only 1 off at a time
Hey mate!! You know I had “shout out” for your channel in this video. But then I realized it was a collaboration with another channel, so I figured it was a bit too many channels in one video ahaha plus this video absolutely flunked - so hopefully we’ll have that shout out on a better performing one! On the Texas star: have you tried a light layer of scotch tape or rubber bands? Will those hold them in place, or useless?
@AirgunAlley wowowow man if I got a shoutout I'd keel over on the spot lol your a big boy channel 💪💪💪😎 Also yea defo best not to over do it, I ordered new magnets off amazon swapped them over and works great now although I do miss getting all 5 with 1 shot 😓
🇲🇽 Mexico. Saludos. Excelente Rifle esperemos. Realizes una Prueba de Test del Nuevo producto. de Hatsan. La Pistola. Hatsan Velox. Cal.25 Saludos buen día
And the channel appreciates your right back, David (glad to learn that your real name is not actually psycho 😂😂) Thank you so much as always my friend!
@AirgunAlley lol, yeah its David, my buddies gave me that name years and years ago lol, i earned it. Im on Airgun Nation under Psycho62. Been there along time.
Wow I just saw Nate's review and then saw yours... I have been looking at the Factor due a while wishing it was just a bit more powerful and just a bit more accurate. This model fits the bill. Now to select a caliber...
I have been looking at the Factor due a while wishing it was just a bit more powerful and just a bit more accurate..Yes you wish but it aint 😂.Look at the 100 yards clips at youtube.Avenge x do better ,half the price?
I have the same texas star and it does the same thing when I shoot it. I ended up putting rubber band and/or orings on each target to stop all the targets from falling when I shoot one.
Awesome man! Thanks a lot for that, the best idea indeed. For now I’m trying with a couple layers of scotch tape. Let’s see how it goes next time I shoot it .
That's a cool air rifle. I've seen it on Pyramidair and Hatsan USA. The 22 cal that you got is well capable of shooting up to 150 shots at optimal velocity with how it's set up to shoot (950-970 fps with 25.4 grain pellets).
Hatsan usa is in Arkansas... Corporate offices are here in the US however the shotgun company is the main parent company though they leave the air gun company here to do as they will
Thank YOU my awesome Ninja and friend!! Truly appreciate you as always! And is everything ok? This comment is a bit too short for your standards!!! Ahahahaha Have a wonderful Sunday!
@@AirgunAlley LOL , sorry so late , i have been feeling under the weather lately , i also been watching the series DEXTER 8 seasons worth !!!! , got my head all screwed up LOL !!! . they also filmed this series in Miami !!!
Alright mate 👍 😂😂nearly as tall as my mrs . That definitely looks intimidating hatsan do make some top quality rifles. As always keep up the great work 👍
Hahahahahaha that is so funny and great minds!! When I was trying to come up with the opening sketch, I was thinking of putting my wife side by side with it, to show its dimensions… but I doubt she would’ve appreciated - so in the end I didn’t . But it’s so funny you said that 😂😂 Thank you as always Stuart!
Mate. If you use some type of vice clamp to really give it a stable platform, you will demonstrate hole in hole accuracy at that distance. Someone needs to 3D print a bracket for the barrel to secure to the end of the tank to it. As a long barrel will have a wobble frequency. They also sell Carbon F barrel stiffening shrouds, with both will increase accuracy!
Hey man I really appreciate that! And you’re right! You know, this channel has only recently taken this “accuracy rifles” turn. Up to not long ago I was all focused on less lethal launchers, mainly CO2 powered. Slowly but surely I’ll step up to the task and collect all the right gear. I much appreciate you my man
The 30 and 35 cal models are the ones you want ... The 22 claims 81 fpe but me and my buddy couldnt manage more than 62 fpe out of it and the way it leaks air if you dont check it once a week dont grab it in a home defense situation
Might go well with my 25 Blitz and AEA 25 SF Sniper version. Hmmm payday is monday. EDIT: My Blitz with a DonnyFL Ronin and extender is 56.25" long but the barrel is only 23".
Wow!! That thing is massive. I have a question; with what's coming out on the market with these incredibly powerful air guns, do you see a possibility of air guns one day being classified as a weapon similar to a regular firearm? Dang, I sure hope not. Sorry that I haven't been around lately to support your channel, as I have been dealing with personal health issues and my wife's cancer. It's been a bloody nightmare. All's good now. She is now cancer free. Me, I'm always a mess 🥴😂. I am glad to see that you are still punishing Spaghetti-Ohs. Awesome!
It's a state by state issue. That's like in my state (SC) airguns are not considered firearms and I can buy any suppressor or rifle I want without any issues.
@@buddywilliamson3098 here in AZ is the same. You can purchase any air gun or air gun product without the background checks etc one goes through purchasing a regular firearm.
My frieeend!! You had me wondering about you for some time! And just as my channel is not doing so well, slumping a bit too much for my liking, you show up again in support. So thank you!! Of course this is NOTHING compared to what you must’ve gone through. I am so so so happy to hear about your wife and, well, glad your mess is under control. Welcome back! To answer your question, I’m not too sure airguns will be regulated on a federal level. I feel like there are many other weapons first in line. But they are making more and more powerful airguns by the year, so who knows! Again, thank you my friend!
Thank you so much Maestro! This one is a true cannon to hold! Have a wonderful Sunday and you too, keep up the great work on one of best airgun channels ever!
This rifle is pretty damn neat. I did look for a Factor some time ago. But noticed the "good priced" one to be an unregulated one - and the regulated RC model to be then a bit too high priced for me.. But this sniper model surely looks like it could be worth it's price..👍🏻
They say about 80 FPE in 22cal...so Im assuming tgis is max on hammer spring...Try adjusting the Hammer Spring to Max, to see the penetration then,....I'm sure it's still set on factory set from manufacturer....
Oh yes, surely with the hammer tuned up, we would’ve gained a few hundred FPS and def more penetration. I just left it the way Nate from the Airgun Channel tuned for those pellets to be accurate… Thanks again
@@AirgunAlley Mate, I didnt know you were mates with Nate. Please can you tell him I have a new HHO cell technology that is super efficient and small enough for on board HHO production? My plan is to design a rifle, that has an extra small space inbetween the exit valve and pellet where very low pressure HHO , and maybe a few drops of diesel to slow the burn, gets injected before each shot. A very low pressure eg 12lb ft would be way sufficient to detonate the hho, so the idea is an off grid hybrid platform. Imagine a rifle that can do 6fp- 600fp and everything inbetween? If he likes the concept let me know? You are also welcome to participate my friend. I always look after my buddies!
Hi there! I don’t explain it in every video, to not be repetitive - but check out this video where I give a quick explanation at minute 9:37 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y7oI0RZ65qI.htmlsi=XaZh2letSLiI2-AN
Really enjoy watching your Air Gun and Air Rifle reviews. But I gotta ask...What is this apparent animosity you have . Against spaghetti " O's " YOU do know that they also put Kale In cans too. Lol 😂😂
Hahaha I’m Italian, I grew up with only homemade food with fresh ingredients. It is shocking for people like me to see canned food like that. And to know that people actually eat it. That said I would also shoot Big Macs, but I love those too much ahahahaha
First shot missed, but second shot hit a bunch so good shot! $1k...in .22 caliber??? OK, let's see how far you can nail stuff from out in the Everglades - 100, 200, 300 or even...18 yards...uhm, I think we'd all prefer that you waited for the weather to clear so we can see it at sniper ranges. 25.4 grains moving at just shy of 1000 FPS - that's really not all that great as your typical .22 long is weighing in a 35-40 gr and zipping along at 1200-1600 from your standard 16" barrel - this isn't a sniper, instead, it's a plinker and rodent gun. All said, unless this thing has some really solid range, I really can't say it's justified for the cost and caliber as I can get a competition grade Ruger 10/22 for that much or a standard one - which still has awesome performance - for half that cost.
Hi Sean, welcome back and as always thanks for your input. All well said. For the time being however my channel is more of a window. Like when you’re window shopping. If you then find something you like, you walk in and ask the guy for more info. Well that guy are other, more technical channels. RU-vid has become a vital part of my income, so I don’t have the luxury to “wait”. With a full time job, a toddler to raise and a rainy season to battle against - I am doing my best.
Hahaha ciao my friend! I’m half italian half Texan. The percentage is just the thickness of the gel. 20% for example will just bounce projectiles off, if they’re not powerful enough
Hatsan Is hit and miss. I love my blitz but I don't think I would get another hatsan. The price is too high when you receive it and realize how cheap it's made. Plus pyramid air sold me a NEW gun FULL price! With a 2 YEAR old tank!! Bs it is. Definitely would not recommend pyramid...Bluegrass big bore is GREAT though!
Hahaha that’s true. I like to use wood for the weaker guns and metal to show off the more powerful one. I know that the US army uses plywood to assess the lethality of a weapon/projectile - but these (expensive) stainless steel trays are also pretty telling, I think. I appreciate your input and will try to use more plywood in the future
