There was already a vaguely dystopian mood to this song, but having it sung by a JPop robot just accentuates that to an absurd degree.

miku's dancing in this is something else, i can't stop looking at it, the lack of animation frames between different positions makes it look so satisfying for some reason

My headcannon is that Miku is now washup and now doing odd jobs such as making Music covers and meme content but now more happy as she can express herself more freely and is not tied to a industry.

AMAZING!! Her voice sounds so natural that it sounds like an actual human's voice with an effect put on it for the song. It's like I can actually literally hear her breathing! How'd you do that?! 🤨 And the visuals this time. I'm amazed! It's all just so perfectly insync with the music. I can't take my eyes off her. Even more amazing is that her dance moves actually change throughout the course of the song. It'd be incredible enough just to synchronize one set of moves that perfectly, but to keep changing them up like that... Man! Why aren't you rich & famous by now? I don't see anyone doing what you do. I'd put you up against any of the Greats like Wowaka or Ryo. No joke! So.... When can we expect original material? 🤔

A truly timeless tune being performed by an "artist" who cannot physically age. Prime time selection and composition my dude, you are definitely one of my top favourites in the game and I wish you nothing but the best.

Growing up in the 90s and early 2000s Miku was my guilty pleasure of music, her and all the vocaloids were. As I grew older I grew out of vocaloids for a long while, after finishing college and getting a few years of work and military service under my belt, I discovered people like Astro, Sewerslvt and many others. They often use voices and audio from silent hill, Lain, and so on. But something about Astro Remixing songs with Miku feels different. As if Miku never stopped making music, or like rediscovering an old album covered in dust. It brings back such a level of nostalgia and feelings that it’s as if she has grown with many of us. As if she too misses those old days. Regardless amazing and emotional work again Astro!

All of these Miku covers are just delightful. I grew up with 80's New Wave and it's crazy to think I'm here in the future listening to a vocal program anime-girl singing some of my favorite tracks. Still crossing my fingers for a Miku x DEVO crossover someday. She'd fit so well.

Brilliant cover! Manages to stay true to the hypnotic, dynamo-like synth of the original while still doing a lot of new, interesting and appealing things with the melody. Manages to even build on the original in some ways without the song becoming too cluttered! The background elements are super good too, I adore how at first glance Miku's poses might seem random but if you pay close attention there are different repeating patterns throughout the song, giving a method to the madness. Talking personally, Blue Monday was probably the most important song of my adolescence, and I listened to it to OBSESSION. It really cemented my love for all things synth and got me into a ton of groups I'd have otherwise overlooked. Heck, I'd even argue its influence helped shaped several aspects of who I am now, in some indirect ways! Even without such a deep personal bias, though, I'd say this cover absolutely blows the original out of the water. Will have to look back into the tunes you've been making, it's been a while!
