SENBONZAKURA! Ahh man, words cannot express how much I dig this song. Everything from those wild instrumental preverses and solos present in the original to the incredibly catchy vocal melodies prolific throughout this tune make my ears smile -from ear to ear?
Ok that was corny even for me.
With that being said, hope you dig what I did with this one! Vocaloid songs seem to really inspire me in terms of arrangements. I’m not really satisfied with just redoing the verses and choruses the same way each time, and often end up throwing in subtle (sometimes, not so subtle!) variations on drum patterns, rhythm guitar parts, and key signatures altogether. In this case, the modulation at the end was present in the original, but I feel like I would have thrown in something cool like that regardless just to give the ending a more FULL STEAM AHEAD sort of dig!
