Hatz has super slow acceleration, but what I noticed is that for its size, its trot is super fast. So it can outpace things thanks to that, ESPECIALLY if you use peck which lets it regain stam from attacks. It's like an endurance predator that doesn't use bleed for once.

But yes you are right hatz is pretty strong but has terrible recovery, so you can kill quiet a lot and have a lot of fun but its very risky majority of the time (Hatz = high risk high reward creature)

I played this thing a lot last night on Nat Hist, and I wanna say, THIS is how you do a fun pterosaur playable. It just feels so addictive to play this thing. You actually have flight physics and momentum in the air, it really feels like you are the heaviest thing to ever fly. Also when you try to carry small dinosaurs with clamp, you have limited vertical mobility, you take off even slower and stam drains really quick. So you can easily lose your target and all your stamina. It actually requires skill and planning to snatch babies. Also when you scream in the fog you feel like a freaking ring-wraith. And flying is very satisfying because you can fly for ages without breaks. You can fly from one corner of the map to the other without losing all your stamina and it feels great. Clearly this is a W for the Alderon team.

i got a notification from the POT community on discord yesterday while i hanging out and opening presents with my family on x-mas day about them dropping the hatzo into the game now. now the swimmers and flyers bundle is now finally complete along with new "pattern skins" for certain dinos as well as new and updated friend referral dino skins as well

The fact that you can clamp while flying (even though it says you can’t) can make it so you just strafe along the ground and gobble stuff up (or skim for eurhinous)

I personally don’t like how flexible its neck is. I know storks and herons have long flexible necks, but it’s known for pterosaurs to have such massive heads compared to their bodies. So it has to be muscular and possibly stiff like a giraffe to carry said head.

Hatz kind of sucks it’s only it’s running animation when it starts to run because it looks like an ordinary walk. Apparently the debs haven’t actually played the servers in certain servers. Apparently they really need to work on like certain things like for the running animation like if you were to be in like a certain situation where you’re low on health and you try to sprain but yet it looks like you’re just walking then you press the button again though yet you still suck you’re walking and then you do it again and again and but then you die because the damn did not do a good job with the running start animation which starlight sucks. It just looks like it’s walking. The only thing you have to like probably pay attention is the stamina but yet they do such a shitty job at it, primordial tire and sitting much better and more easier noticeable one.

Fun fact, Hatzegopteryx' Stab ability does not do a low amount of damage. It, in fact, does 100 damage currently, meaning with its armor and weight ignoring properties, it can kill a fully grown spino in 10 hits if it's not hitting headshots.
