Thanks a million! So helpful. IKEA should pay you to do vids on all assembly. Clear & concise instructions. Why, in this modern age, they do not have videos on assembly baffles the sh1t out of me.

Yeah you should be fine with the seats down. On IKEA's website, you can check the exact measurements of the packages just to make sure if they'll fit in your car.
