I enjoy each and every video you upload no matter the content. Like other commenters, I appreciate hearing how you value time with your wife once she gets home. I wish you continued success as your channel grows. I find "zero" value in broadcast television content these days which is why I have none wired into my home. RU-vid has opened a world of learning and discovery to millions both good and bad. It's channels like yours with good wholesome content of everyday life that I find worthy of watching. Keep the cameras rolling Evan! 😊

Quick way to make applesauce instead of cooking the apples on the stove, put them in the big crockpot overnight on low and the next morning you'll have applesauce and whatever sugar you wanna add and anything else you might wanna put on them like maybe a hint of cloves package and it's ready to go. I learned that recipe for an old crockpot recipe years ago, but not many people know of it anymore. Enjoy it's wonderful to see all the fresh homegrown meat, fruit and vegetables you're putting up. Everyone that your house will certainly be healthy over the winter!!

Hey Evan! Just a friendly suggestion. Since you had such a big harvest from your fruit trees this year and couldn’t pick all of them in time, I thought I'd share a tip we often use here in Spain. Besides feeding the pigs, we always keep some fruit trees in the chicken coop. The chickens will not only eat the ripe fruit that falls, but they'll also take care of the insects on the fallen fruit. Free protein for your chickens. You could also let your turkeys and meat chickens graze in the orchard.

G'Day Evan, Been an avid watcher of your channel for some time now. watched you grow from the old tractors where you were willing to take the up and downs of it all. With regards your bailage concerns based on my past experiences of the same you'll have a cracking crop under that wrap and it'll all be the best of haylage it'll smell that good you'd think you could eat it yourself. Haylage is easier to make well than hay especially with the weather being wet in the summer lately. I enjoy each and every episode. Thank You. Regards farmer Steve from the U.K.

I use the 91% octane/ethanol free gas with 1 ounce of Seafoam per gallon in my two Toro mowers, snowblower, a power washer, and motorcycle. All my power equipment seems to run more efficiently with the combination. I've been told numerous repair shops don't use gas with ethanol. Thanks for all your effort it takes to produce quality videos.

Good looking hay crop this year. That looks like a public road near where you are storing your hay bales. You might consider storing them a little further from the public. My neighbor had bales set fire by vandals. He now stores them on back of the farm away from the public. Obviously wrapping yours will reduce the risk but vandals are pretty unpredictable. He also moves one bale near the public road each Halloween and spray paints a face on one end, pretty cool. Love the videos, keep them coming.

Can you get your hands on more of the pipe used for fence posts, perhaps up to 16' in length? If so you could design and build a very rugged welded storage barn structure for consolidating your accumulated implements. The base can be concrete, imbedded RR ties, gravel, etc. Perhaps this idea has already been floated. Maybe not. 👍👍👍

JudithB Good job Evan!! Its been extremely hot and humid this past week so didnt get much done here. Instead of buying lumber and timbers to finish projects, I bought a lot of groceries and meats for canning asap. When I listen to the news, its hard to decide to work on projects or buy food and supplies for the house, but winter is coming. Next month I plan to get back on projects and finish them before Nov. I did get more supplies for the water system in the garden and work on it Monday. The pullets have started laying just in time as the old girls are dieing of old age.
