You should check out McCormack and Schmidts Oak Street Restaurant at 3rd and Oak in Portland. There is an entry to the underground in the wine cellar and it is creepy. Mike Beaver, was the manager at the time(circa 1980) and he was always the last person there in the middle of the night. He had several weird things happen. Lights going off and on. chairs tipping over, strange random noises.

I have a couple of experiences at Satrvation Heights. Never knew it was tied into Kells. I'm a solo investigator and would absolutely love to go on a tour. The footage I got at starvation heights freaked my ex out so bad she actually broke my camera and card. I had no other equipment at that time. I captured half body apparitions clearly in broad daylight. Several shots and they were so good. But long story short it caused problems and many years later I got back into it. Manressa Castle is pretty awesome too. But nothing I've ever done was yielded pictures like that graveyard. I'm a highly sensitive empath and seem to naturally have "good luck" in ghost hunting and would love to talk to someone that knows local history and some good spots to check out. Liked and subscribed. Your videos are awesome 👌

You know I grew up in Snohomish, Washington and the Oxford salon also had a tin soldier like man in window about 15 feet or so tall. I moved to Goldbar in the late 1990s and a new house was being built next to us. Low and behold the owner of the house bought that tin man. I use to get woke up almost everyday by wood peckers pecking on it. When I was younger at that bar I was down stairs and was going up to leave when I saw a cop in a older outfit they wore. He was pale and blocking the stairs. It kinda freaked me out and I had my friends walk me out. That was the last time I drank down stairs there. There is many stories for that bar that I listened to growing up. It's a amazing piece of history.

I highly recommend the book by Gregg Olsen, "Starvation Heights." Butterworth's is mentioned many times. Actually, I recommend any of Gregg Olsen's books. He's a Washitonian and most of his books are written about things that happened in the PNW. Great video, Chris!

Chris, loved this tour! Kells is one of our favorite places to visit. Do you think that upper portion that's been closed for so many years will ever be re-opened? I've read so many stories of restaurants going in there, only to close their doors due to the ghostly experiences they've encountered...

I just found your channel and to be honest I’m very happy that I did. I’ve grown up in Lakewood/Tacoma/Spanaway area my entire life. Although I am older I have not been able to get out and about much in my life so I am loving your channel to be able to get to see and learn about things around me. I am going to as the kids say “bing watch”your channel to find and learn more. Is there any interesting places to see that is very closer to my home that you could suggest for an interesting day outings by chance? I can’t afford much of anything like admission prices and what nots but I am very much wanting to know what is out here for me to do nowadays that doesn’t seem to cost to much. I’ve already been walking all of my local parks around me here in Spanaway and honestly I’m very bored of this after years of doing this. 😊. Thank you for any suggestions from anyone who wants to share any with me on here. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🥰😊🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

There is an air operated elevator in the old Ford dealership in Winlock. They used to assemble Model 'T' fords upstairs then lower the completed car down to the show room.

When I first moved to Washington more than 30 years ago, I lived in Aberdeen for a year. Can’t count the number of times we went to Billy’s. I am a very receptive person and I never sensed anything there. I think my home now is more haunted than Billy’s.

Somewhere around merchants is the opening to Seattle underground. And all along the sidewalks, you can see the glass squares in the concrete for skylights. I know there’s other places in Washington that have underground places. I know Yakima is one of them. I live in Yakima. You should do a video on haunted underground cities or something like that in Washington!

I’m born and raised I in snohomish, many haunted bars and buildings in downtown snohomish. I took my 2 boys to the Oxford for lunch one day. After we left, I noticed my oldest boy was acting a little strange. I asked him what was wrong, and he said that he saw a burnt scary person in the mirror behind the bar, and that this person had jagged pointy teeth. my boys had never known the history of that bar or any building in downtown Snohomish. It bothered me so much that whatever this thing was chose to show itself to my sweet innocent child. Btw, the upstairs lady’s bathroom is really uncomfortable, and the downstairs bathroom is even worse, especially if you are sensitive to negative energy.

I have been to a few of these locations and yes I have felt some creepiness in them. Have you ever been to Slim's Bar in Lind WA. That place gave me the creeps in the bathroom I felt I was surrounded by three people ready to steal from me but I was the only one in the room.

@@PrettyGrittyTours I was told that it used to be a speakeasy way back in the day. Apparently a lot of the wood work in there comes from a French monestary and the windoes/cabinet doors came from an old wooden tall ship. I can't confirm, but I can feel the energy in there lol.

I don't know if you know the couple who were with the ghost hunters had a tragic ending. They were Mark and Debbie Constantine. Mark murdered Debbie inside of their apartment in Las Vegas. He then turned the weapon on himself after a standoff with police and shot himself I often wonder when their photos are shown of Ghost Adventures and various venues like yours is if they will show up.
