check themepark Efteling in the Netherlands. a very old park with a long history started in 1933 as sportpark. they been expending and growing with a playground for kids with a carousel and ever since they been growing step by step into a amazing amusement Park theme fairytale inspired by Anton Piek drawings.. the decorations there are also amazing and if I am not mistaken Disney hired the people who are specialised in amusement ride decorations who worked for Efteling before. the old first full on amusement rides and walk throughs are still kept. could be considered as antiques now 😊. they have many new ones as well. rides that are beautiful decorated are droomvlucht ( dreamflight ) as example.

I went yesterday, and yes, this alternate entrance is available if you ask a cast member. You bypass the stretching room experience and go straight onto the ride itself. If the stretching room means that much to you and your overall experience, then obviously stay in the main queue. When I was there, it was a 45 min wait. By skipping the stretching room, I only waited 5 mins. Totally recommend.

This is my observations of whatever changed since I last experienced the ride. 1:04 This area is much more well lit (probably to see the tape on the floor) 3:15 Once upon a time, the palantir (glass ball) didn't float around; it was stationary to the table. 5:02 This guy seems new to me... although he might've been an original character way before my time (...was born in '93). 5:47 6:15 These last two time stamps show some seemingly advanced spirits in the graveyard. I don't remember seeing such detail on these characters during my childhood visits. Oh, and if you aren't a local visitor, you may not have been told that much of Disneyland gets decorated for the holidays and the Haunted Mansion is one example of a ride that receives a huge annual overhaul that include themes from Nightmare Before Christmas decor, audio, and animatronics. My favorite time of year is Autumn and Winter for the park changes and comfortable weather, but beware that much of Disneyland's rides frequently close during any precipitation (for some reasons) so keep the weather forecast in mind if you're not local.

To anyone says that he has the easiest job or anything like that: sure, it’s fun but don’t forget getting all this footage and editing it all is one helluvah job. Who knows how many times he needs to go through to get the best shots. Also, the years of perfecting his style+the dedication is nothing to sneeze at. I’ve seen people do similar videos who didn’t or couldn’t provide this level of quality. Pieces would be missing, sections wouldn’t be as clear. This is especially true for walkthru attractions and jump scares. He probably has to line up often to go through attractions a few times just to map out the walkthru attractions properly. Point is, making what you find fun a job doesn’t make it any less of a job. I’m sure this is still hard work and DEFINITELY challenging.

The one from 1969? And it’s not like they haven’t added new stuff. Star Wars land, Avengers Campus, and if you actually haven’t gone since Haunted Mansion’s opening, California Adventure is new. Plus Disney World is entirely new if you haven’t gone to Disney since 1969. Plus Haunted Mansions has received a ton of updates from the 1969 version. Assuming you were in your 20s - 30s last time you went, you would be in your 70s or 80s. I can see on your channel you have an interest in DJing, which isn’t impossible for an 80 year old, but not likely. Or if you are talking about the version from 2020 before the park closed, They aren’t making an entirely new ride. They just freshened things up a bit.

I love this ride so much. Some of the best childhood memories for me were spent at Disney. It looks like you were the only one there. All the seats around you look empty. Is it bc of social distancing or did they let you in the park early??

There's a door in the portrait hallway opposite the portraits. There are "windows" all around the door that make it look like it's storming outside. Most people never look in that direction because they are watching the portraits change

I remember this ride as a kid in about 1976ish. The zombies popping up out of coffins? Scared me! I will never do business with Disneyland because the changes of the original rides and night time parade of lights. The original Nautilus submarine ride was the best. If something ain't broke don't fix it.

I initially assumed they'd just turn off the elevator and prop open both doors in the stretching room to extend the queue with ropes and distance markers. I like this idea too, it seems to be working well, my only wish is that they would've installed some new on-theme lighting and been able to keep the fluorescent ones off.
@unrellated
@unrellated 3 года назад
They can only leave both doors to the stretching room open in the Florida version. In California, the ceiling doesn't go up, the floor goes down.

They can’t put more than 1 or maybe 2 parties in the stretching room due to social distancing. So they have people go in this way so that the line is not insane and so that they can safely have everyone ride. They did something like that in Disney World but you just walk through the room you don’t actually watch the room stretch.
@Crimson_Snake1

@@mad.m_805 but the problem is the onimover ride system was NOT designed with these kind of safety precautions in mind!
