My friend and I went to a cemetery at night that was way out in the middle of nowhere. You easily got the goose bumps getting closer to it. There were no other vehicles around. We both literally heard someone say, “Get outta here”. We never told anyone we were going there. It was spur of the moment. We looked all around and didn’t see anyone. Needless to say, we left in a hurry. It scared both of us.
Had this tour and had Jeff as our guide today. He did a fantastic job and kept the interest of my 9 year old daughter. Highly recommend the tour and him.
@@LoriKasprzak-yk6nc If it makes you feel safer to say that. HOWEVER, the history of the hauntings goes WAY back, before anyone even thought of having paid tours.
Scott! So, so interesting and educational on the history of New Orleans! I never knew. Thank you for taking us with you on this tour of the cemetery. If those walls could talk!!!! WOW 😮 UR FANTASTIC ❤ 30:45
The Glapion is my cousins. He pronounced it different. My father Arthur Vigne was the oldest living Zulu King. He was King in 1988. He pasted away in July, 2019. He buried in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum cemetery in Gentilly. Thanks for coming to our city, enjoy!
Scott my dad lives in Metairie, Louisiana and just last week I was telling him I want to see Marie Laveau's grave when I visit him in the summer! Awesome video!!!!
Awesome video! You can tall Jeff really enjoys what he does. I love to see that-there's not enough of it in this country, especially right now. And BTW Scott, your Cage impression was actually pretty darn good, IMHO lol!
I've been wanting to see this cemetery for years now, I absolutely loved the tour you went on and now I can't wait to see it even more in person someday. Very enjoyable!!
That was an incredible tour. I feel so bad for the crypts that are decaying and the stories of the fake tour guides. I've never been to a cemetery where the crypts are above ground and the reason in New Orleans for it. Truly interesting video Scott. Have a great night. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
@@themodsify you are so correct. Too many years before they learned that. In the beginning before the levys, (yikes even after) too many buried folks were floating by to say hi after floods.
Awesome video. When he said they open the crypt take out the body put the bones in a bag put it back in and put a new body in, that's just creepy. Thanks for sharing ❤ stay safe Scott.
Omg this was the best...you do sound like Andy doing Nicolas Cage... I now have the quote ringing in my head...the added footage of Vince and Nicolas fighting was the best. Great job.
Tour guide Jeff. Definitely has the gift of gab. Some of those Mausoleums/fence cement walls are very black. That area must be creepy as heck at night.⚰️😱Well done! Scott.
Great video Scott, being in the funeral industry I knew about this Cemetery, it's amazing the history, the rules , the way to place works , pure legend .thanks again Tom
Very interesting video. I'm actually going to New Orleans in October. For the first time and the first thing I said I want to check out the cemeteries LOL
Very cool I love these beautiful cemetery! " Shut up Bus" LOL nice Nick impression, haha🙄😂🤣 Thanks Jeff, great tour!I like the mention of Valley Girl! Another great vlog Scott👍
Hi Scott 🙋🏽. I'm loving this 💗💜❤️💯. It's really sad how there's no upkeep of the tombs/grave's. Everything is so deteriorated and dirty. There's open tombs. Really sad.🤔
Nicolas Cage also has two homes in Nola, one is the historic home of Delphine LaLaurie, Kathy Bates played her in American Horror Story: Coven. I have been in that home and it is haunted. Brad and Angelina had a home not far from Bourbon Street too.
This cemetery looks SO interesting. I could spend a lot of time there learning history, etc. I hope I get to go to 'Nawlens' someday. Thanks Scott, this was AWESOME!!!
Thanks Scott for another awesome vid, im a massive Nic Cage fan & love all his movies. If you havent watch willys wonderland, its a strange film where Nic says nothing at all. But still a great film. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Wow Scotty this is the first time I have seen a cemetery like this one. For me it was so bizarre. Looking at you going through all those crypts make me feel really claustrophobic. It felt really eerie as the tour never seemed to end. Not sure how you felt but I didn’t like that feeling. As for Nicholas Cage’s pyramid I am not surprised. I wouldn’t expect any different from him. He is a great actor. I loved watching the movie Face Off. Well once again superb job done by you with a lot of patience. I have said this to you many times and I have to say it again. Take care Scotty, Be safe. As always. Much love from us. ❤️🤗✌🏼💕
I found this so interesting. I’ve never seen a cemetery like that. Thanks for showing us! Love your videos and have started watching them daily. Be safe out there!
The graveyard tours are the best!! If I hadn’t already done it, it would have been #1 on my bucket list. It’s back on the list because it is unbelievable and beautiful. Love everything creepy. I’m still here Scott, just a little late. 💀
Scott thank you so much for this!! I loved it. I was having the same reactions you were at the same time. lol! felt like I was right there with your group.
Nice 'Nick Cage' impression, priceless. Wow Scott you hit pay-dirt in this video. Capturing the tour guides' narration complete with his personal thoughts and local experiences. The dude is a righteous 'rock and roller'. An absolute capitalist in the true sense. While his delivery, narration and questionable attire is speculate to his purpose, this video is a great 'inside job' of New Orleans history by you. Something the majority of your fans would never have experienced or known on their own.
Hi Scott, that was quite a tour, and the Tour Guide was terrific. Yes, you sounded just like Nicholas Cage! He hasn't said anything to the press about Lisa Marie Presley's passing. I know they were engaged. Married? RIP Lisa Presley.
Scott, great video!!! I was born in Louisiana and lived in New Orleans, just to let you know Gov Claiborne is in Metairie Cemetery with another woman thought to be his 3nd wife! Lost of famous people there. Worth a visit!! And soon Anne Rice
Brilliant video, very interesting Cemetery and very old, Nicolas cage in a pyramid, very strange but different. That tour guild Jeff was such a nice guy. So friendly. Thank you Scott. Xxx
I learned something I wondered about for almost 25 years! I was in a New Orleans cemetery just like this near the French Quarter, and there was a tomb from the early 1800's that had a big crack in it. I looked in it and could see a whole skeleton. But, there was no skull and one arm bone was missing. I wondered "Did this person get decapitated and lose their arm? Why didn't they bury the head with them?". It never dawned on me that someone most likely stole the skull and the arm bone. Durr! Horrible thing to do. Super interesting tour/vlog.
Scott Wow this was incredible. I love Jeff's personality. He is very knowledgeable. I could have done without the peak inside the grave. I wasn't sure what we'd see. I learned alot.
Hey Scott you are amazing and are my favorite Vlogger by far. Have you ever considered doing a Doc Hollywood or Groundhog Day filming locations Vlog? I love your sense of humor so much! It makes my day 10×s better! 😍 your Nic Cage impression made me laugh so hard I almost got in trouble at work! Keep up your great work! Happy Holidays!
Love this Reminds me of my Dad confused why people wanted to live below sea level We both visited at different times and loved it. I don’t remember the street but I remember he told me that looked at a certain street and you could see where a blockage of some kind was holding the water back. Such an awesome place. I hope the levee never breaks again. Really cool video thank you Scott
