What if the Mario Galaxy Observatory had the same sadness as the Ghostly Galaxy? Then, you'd probably end up with this. (With a remix of the Ghostly Galaxy added on for good measure.)
@@quack9pm Sadly you're right. The game is barely replayable. They tried to make it more open again, by removing the missiok system, but just made it even more linear.
Luigi's Mansion 4. Luigi gets an invitation to visit the space station, but (uh oh) like always its a trick from King Boo. Now he has to rescue Mario, Peach, the Toads, AND Rosalina from King Boo. Also somehow (unsurprisingly) E Gadd found his way into space too.
I like the concept that as the Luigi's Mansion series progresses, for some reason he just has to save an absurdly larger and larger amount of people. By the final Luigi's Mansion game, the entire mushroom kingdom is haunted and he has to save literally everyone
@@frootloopthechatot9766 They need a Luigi's Mansion game that takes place on a haunted cruise ship... Specifically _Diasy's_ cruise ship, that is now haunted. We just really need Daisy to show up in Luigi's Mansion! Since Daisy appeared in Wonder, I have hope that there is a chance...
I've always loved Mario Galaxy for its willingness to slow down and gently engage in exploring sadness. It really wears its Little Prince influence on its sleeve, and the melancholy that occasionally seeps into the game really highlights the ways happiness is more powerful when sadness is present, I feel. Thanks for the music!
Usually when I see people cover a song and switch it from major to minor, that’s about all they do and they don’t add much of their own twist to it, but I’m really impressed by this version, it’s so ominous and foreboding!
New game pitch Luigi's Mansion 4:Ghosts in space. Ghosts have taken to the stars and its Luigi's job to stop them from turning planets to ghost planets. One of the levels is an abandoned and dead version of the Comet Observatory that the ghosts have started to make ghostly. You unlock parts of the observatory by getting back fragments the ghosts have. This is the music that plays.
*Lost on the sea of stars, floating aimlessly in the darkness, there is stories of a princess’ comet castle. A once bustling nursery for the starling Luma to gather and play now lies empty; the shining blue comet in its centre now nothing more than a dwindling white speck. Now, should you see this palace of adventure and love, beware. For ghosts call it home. Where did she go, the queen of the stars? Where are her children?*
It’s like after ALL the Lumas have finally grown up into planets, stars or comets, Rosalina can finally return back to her old home planet again, and the Comet Observatory has been abandoned ever since Rosalina return back home to Earth, and it begins fading away like stardust, but there are stories that the Comet Observatory is still in the galaxy, but not as it’s old self, it becomes a ghostlike stardust starship.
@@A_Guy_With_A_Girl_pfp So? It makes no sense. Rosalina said that the cycle of life will always continue meaning that new Lumas will always keep being born.
@@mariobroultimate1808 am I really gonna argue about this? This song is a what if sanareo, someone had a hypothetically idea in mind and made it into a song. I don't think it's that deep buddy...
@@A_Guy_With_A_Girl_pfp Super Mario Galaxy 7: Heat death of the Universe. In case anyone doesn't know, scientists believe that eventually, in trillions on trillions of years, star formation will end and all that will be left will be red dwarfs and eventually even those fade away.
mother of god. i don't think i've EVER heard a youtube remix use such fantastically high-quality instruments. this sounds so... real. official. grand!! the creativity on display here is so refreshing... i feel like it is so rare to see people take songs and totally transform them like this - especially with such clear effort and passion. fantastic work!! your skill is astounding!!
This is so interesting, I love messing around with relative majors/minors with catchy tunes, great job! Also, you should do a video on the music and info on the stage in CP, I love that tune and would be excited to hear some inside scoop on the stage.
Really solid! I'll be listening to this for awhile :) I wonder if you could do the opposite -- make some of the creepier musics happier by combining them with the Observatory Theme.
this really does capture the musical style of the ghostly levels almost perfectly, though I've gotta say the parts which stray from the original inspiration a little (particularly where the intensity ramps up a bunch near the middle) are even better lol
This is fantastic! I think this is by far my favourite rendition of the Teresa Waltz, especially with the astral observatory theme in minor key accompanying it. So well done. I also recognize that same whistle technique that you used in the track for the Halloween Party! Still sounds great!!
This is really great to see from you Chris! Very nostalgic yet eerie at the same time, I dig it. Would love to see more remixes from you in the future!
You definitely need to do more mario galaxy stuff. This is such a cool concept and it works so well that it honestly sounds like it would be a real thing.
This is crazy, Club Penguin and Mario Galaxy was my childhood! And I LOVE the music from both, so ironic that you made this and I love it! Combining the two songs, awesome.
Ohhh myyyy the memories love the remix and the club penguin videos🔥 could you do one on the Christmas music that was one of my favorite parties as a kid
