I'm a sensitive and an employee gave me a tour of the room. The room itself is not haunted, I believe, but a spirit passes through on occasion coming from the pink house across the street. I told the employee this, and they agreed. It is a very comfortable room except when the spirit visits; then it feels like electricity in the room and the lights or lamp flickers. The employees have had lots of experiences with the room.
It's a cheap camcorder from Amazon that has ir lighting for the dark. You can also buy ir lights that you can add to any camera you have. I bought some for my cameras that I plan to use for my next investigation.
My best friend and I stayed in room 101 recently. (Apr 2024). We brought equipment which was first time using our new purchases as well as our very first time doing an investigation on our own. We are strictly amateurs and it's the history of places that really interest us. I set up a video recorder for the time we slept. We didn't expect anything. When I got home loaded in my computer and was very surprised as to what we got. We never felt anything... just felt like a normal room. We had orbs, a female voice that said "help me", a male voice but couldn't make what was said, and the craziest thing was hearing a ringing bell (old fashioned call bell or doorbell) on 4 occasions sounding as it in our room. The videos were done both nights we were there. We never heard this loud bell. Only in the video when played back. I called the owner to try to debunk it. He said he doesn't have anything like that on site and was surprised to hear this. I sent him the evidence. This was crazy as we would have heard it at least on one occasion because my friend just got back into bed from having leg cramps. So, we were both awake. Haunted or not, we can't explain it.

Stayed in the middle room across the street. It’s definitely haunted. Woke up in the morning and saw a grey sparking orb floating over my wife I think it was room 302. The people below us heard children playing outside their door but jo one was there I left a detailed review on trip advisor
I actually went on this tour today via The Witching Hour Tour and it was quite interesting. I was surely hoping that your video would give some kind of reassurance and confirmation of the stories. Lol... Nonetheless , great video. 👍🏾😉

Some weird noises and strange things happen to my camera when I'm asleep. I'm working on my night at the Marshall House hopefully it will be out this week. Getting a lot of disembodied voices. Ok, I just seen your 2nd comment. About it being haunted, I never felt anything there. I loved the room, history and stories of the building. I found the room to be very peaceful. Alot of places claim to be haunted even going as far as making up stories, some stories just like movies based on true events change throughout the years eventually become made up for entertainment purposes. I found that out with the seelbach hotel about the Lady in blue. People have to do research about a location to see if any facts exist about the story. I been to places that claimed to be the most haunted but ended up disappointed. I been to some placed where I was not disappointed. The paranormal don't work when we want it. A couple places I was very disappointed but when I came home and reviewed my recordings, I was very excited and surprised what I caught. Is 1790 haunted... I don't know. I was doubtful myself. I hear so many different stories about the lady in 204. I can't find anything on it. I go to these places to see for myself. I don't lie or fake things like most of the other vloggers. This is nonsense. I stayed at 1790 many years ago and the entire inn was empty and I stayed there twice long before the Godleys bought it. Pure nonsense.
