Sounds like a Poltergeist case - considering it is a school location that would make a great deal of sense. An EVP session would be most interesting at that location to determine if there is residual past energy or if it is the work of Imps hanging around even after the students have left.
My old high school is in ruins. Which makes me feel super old... I don't think it's haunted, but it is extremely vandalised and I think people have squatted there and done all kinds of drugs in my old classrooms. The school hall was set on fire and burned to the ground a couple of years ago.
