Episode 66. Happy Halloween folks. To celebrate we've got a special episode from our dear friend Chris Boyer who spent the better part of a few years living (and partying) in an old, deeply haunted mansion in Hagerstown, Maryland. That, plus the usual, drug-infused madnesses. Enjoy.

Bring this guy back, he is so unintentionally funny. He’s got a natural comedic timing.

When he said once you're all alone and no one to shoot the shit with. i felt that. I'm 25 and been trying to get clean for over a year. Being alone has sucked but it's showed me how crazy my addiction was. glad to be off.

Amazing story- and yes, unless you’ve lived through something similar, there is just no way to convey the emotions and especially the questioning of your own sanity. Our entire family - 1967-1969 - lived in Villa Tomacella, a 400 yr old fortress of the Colonna Family on the Sacco River, near Frosinone. I was seven, my brother was seventeen and aside from our parents, the only other inhabitants were three elderly Colonna family relatives. There was a married couple who took care of the cleaning and maintenance (such as it was - 175 rooms and half the place was unstable structurally due to massive bombing(s) during WWII). Several experiences similar to Christopher’s (oh hell;called him “Chris” initially) - especially getting locked into the bathroom. Slamming doors, thuds, screams in the middle of the night (the walls of Tomacella were a good 3’ thick) - no radios, one tiny tv but RAI was only on-air 8 hrs a day. No explanations- no “logic” has ever come close to explaining away anything that went on. Years later, the folks admitted Dad (who was an officer in Patton’s 3rd Armor Division) had found the - or rather - what was left of the bodies of 2 German soldiers in a subterranean level. Unless you’ve experienced these things, you can’t imagine. I’ve contacted and been in touch with the present owner of Tomacella and hope to get back there when and if the Covid19 nightmare ends. Great episode and yeah, I’d like to hear about the new property owners🤣

Hey Bro, so...No offense, but near the end: when your buddy was talking of being "brought back to life with an injection of adrenaline?" Yeah, he was 100%, obviously either mistaken, or just talking out his ass. Because that is most definitely NOT what happens when a person is being injected with adrenaline. Look it up; the effects are pretty much indistinguishable from being IV'd with "epinephrine" which is the emergency medicine used when an individual is deadly allergic to bees. To be injected with adrenaline would be wildly uncomfortable. It would resemble having a panic attack. With your heart pounding, having massive rushes of uncontrollable anxiety, whilst also expirencing overwhelming feelings of certain death. It would be almost LITERALLY, the complete opposite from what he had described to you. Now, I don't know the fella. And I'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt. But after hearing that story he told; when in hindsight of the rest of the shit he had been going on about.... it's pretty easy to tell that your friend was "haming" alot of what he was saying up, and was just exaggerating the shit out of practically everything in order to make a more exciting podcast. And I don't blame em... it does make for an entertaining podcast. But after hearing the dude give wildly incorrect information once, it kinda spoils it all for me.... I'm just that kinda person. No offense to him. And kudos to a good podcast. But na.... just..... na....
