Hi there! Cru Bourgeois is an intermediary classification given to quality wines that could not reach the Grand Cru Classé classification. Criteria are mainly rating of quality based on tasting from a jury but there is also for the other levels of cru bourgeois (Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel) an environmental approach.
