Question: are you free to go anywhere you want while visiting Cuba or do you need a guide/minder with you? Also, are you free to film whatever you want or will they confiscate your I-Phone if they don't like certain footage/pictures you took?
You are free to go anywhere you want because everything is pretty self explanatory. But a lot of the people who live there will give you a “tour” or guide/ help you get somewhere if you need it. They are super friendly and very welcoming to Americans! We had a couple locals guide us for some hours and paid them for their time. And yes you can film whatever you like. I had my iPhone and large camera out filming many things and was never asked to stop filming. Everyone in our group pretty much had our phones out at all times!
