once you go to cuba it is hard to not return they are so friendly and will do all they can to make you love the place ! once you got to know them the sky is the limit i keep on going every year for vacation in the cayo more relax less noise but the same charming peoples ;)

Another good one!! BTW, Mario told you straight up that he is a Jinetero "horse Jockey" which is an escort I guess you did not understand well. Being a Jinetero is not just about "services" but they could be great help in changing money or as tour guide. They try everything to survive which is sad :(

In elementary school we had the choice to learn French or Spanish. Glad I chose Spanish. In my life I have never had to use French but used my Spanish many times. Una idioma que muy importante.

La Habana does have access to all the great cigars, there is no real Cohiba that size for $5, The counter fit trade is rampant. The usual ruse is the 2 tiered box, the top being real and the bottom fake. the landlord could well have been setting up our vlogger for that.

Another great episode Terry. You are a brave guy going through some of those streets. To me except for the hot Latinas it's a time worp back to the early 1950s. I was expecting to see Michael and Fredo Corleone in the lobby of the hotel.

Your title does not fit your experiences. The streets of most of la Habana are quite safe, especially in the tourist zone of old Havana where you encountered groups of old, gray haired white people. There is little or no crime against tourists as the consequences are severe. You would see the real la Habana by walking through centro where Cubans live. You were on the inner harbour, not the world famous Malecon. Later you went down Calle San Rafael, one of the main chica districts, the pair at 18:21 for example. That is why it seemed busy. As to the lobster, it is actually a langostine or langostina. Unlike a Maine lobster it does not have the claws. You need to read the book by Wm.J. Lederer and Eugene Burdick to help you expand and grow your channel.
