Hi Jason! Thank you so much 😊 I didn’t have any issues but I’ve heard others having their drones confiscated so it is a risk. You’re going to love Cuba 🇨🇺
Thanks for watching Mike. I do have other videos of Cuba so check them out. Through my short journey of Cuba I met many Cubans who would say that they wish things were different as they don’t have the opportunities that others have living in a suppressed time but are grateful for tourism in which they can survive. The Cuban people are one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met and they encourage people to visit Cuba. I created this channel not to show countries on its knees but to show its beauty and strength as the country will always belong to it’s people. I’m passionate about travelling and encourage people to travel to all countries as each country has it’s sadness and beauty.
@@TravelwithRidhi I can respect that. Cuba does have some very nice and wonderful people. It's very sad what the government has done the people are very hard working and willing to go the extra mile to make people happy. I also think people need to be prepared to see quite a bit of hardship if they make this trip.
Oh I totally agree. I brought lots of gifts for the kids, colouring pens, books, sweets and a soccer ball which they loved. I would encourage people to do the same because it’s just so so limited what they have. I always stayed in casa particulares and the families took care of me and told me about their hardship. When I told them I was filming they actually encouraged me to do so and even gave me their Facebook details to post which would give them more exposure. One family were able to leave Cuba to Spain and would return from time to time. They do have hardship and I’ve seen it in so many other countries. I worked in Ethiopia helping optometry students train as I’m a professional optometrist and I saw a lot of poverty there. Cubans have suffered a lot not only now but it goes back to slavery. I visited an old preserved sugar plantation in Trinidad which was very sad. It’s part of their history and cannot be forgotten.
@@TravelwithRidhi I wasn't fortunate to be able to take much luggage as I was working security for various politicians during my trips to Cuba and other places but just like you I've seen lots of hardship.
